While I don't know what it's like to be a more obvious minority, I think being TG opens you eyes to what it's like to be outside the 'norm'. I’ll second that. While I don’t know what it’s like to be a more obvious minority, I think being TG opens you eyes to what it’s like to be outside the ‘norm’.

In the past I think I would have disagreed with it being a blessing, but in later years I’ve got used to it and I’ve had some great times through this quirk of my genetics. :)
