<description>I&#039;ve been a crossdresser for years. I&#039;ve had to hide the fact from family &amp; friends, but within the last couple of years I&#039;ve &quot;come out&quot; and told a few select people that I know I can trust. My fiance is a very supportive woman who not only accepts the fact that I&#039;m a CD, but she helps me with the outfits that I select when I do go out en femme. There has even been a night when she went out with me to a club and we had a wonderful time. I&#039;m more comfortable now than I ever have been going out in public. And it&#039;s all due to my wonderful fiance.

<description>I am a &quot;former&quot; Cross-dresser.  By that, I am stating for the record that I do not/can not dress anymore.  Let me explain...For most of my life I have been interested in &quot;dressing-up&quot;.  My mother  and my sister (older by two yrs.) knew of my interests, and on Halloween went so far as to dress me in female clothes.  One year when I was in 6th. grade, I was dressed by my mother as a lady of the times. (about early 60&#039;s.)  She sent me to a costume party like that.   By practical use of cosmetics ( I LOVED the deep red lipstick!) and foundation underware, my mother produced quite a little woman out of me.
That costume party was a success in that I was warmly accepted and treated like a girl by most of the kids there.  There was one boy who had issue with me.
When it looked like I would have problems, a bunch of girls wisked me away and kept me occupied within their group for the rest of the time of the party.
My interests in dressing continued to grow even while in high school.  Then I joined the military during the Viet Nam conflict.  (we never called it a war...).  During this time, I met and married my present wife of 40 yrs.  My wife, knew of my interests and shared with me her interests in cross dressers by dressing me up for a Halloween party before we were married.  She has supported my interests ever since!
How ever this all came to an end in 2007.  I sustained a life threatening injury, and am now disabled.  My wife is my 24/7  care-giver, and we live as well as we can within our means.
I have lots of good memories of going out with my wife and as her &quot;girl-friend&quot;.  I would say that I have had a good time of it, and consider myself a success...  :)
