Girls, what do ya say we start out with some fashion tips that might even be mixed with beauty as well!
One comment I hear on a regular basis that I want to dismiss right off the bat, “You’ve got to dress appropriate for your age!” Well girlfriends, if I did just that, I would be dressing like “Granny” from “The Beverly Hillbillies!” I’m 65 years old and there’s no way I’m dressing up to my age! I select clothing which makes me look younger than my actual age and I would suggest you do the same. Now, I’m not suggesting you should dress like a teenager, however, take it down to what you look great in and what you feel comfortable with.
A perfect example where I dress younger than my age is when I’m wearing one of my short wool skater skirts in the cooler months. I pair them with some opaque black tights and some black knee-high boots. I slap on a wide elastic black belt with a faux leather front, with maybe some faux diamond embellishments, and then put on a sexy thin snug fitting solid black turtle neck top. I make sure all of my silver fashion jewelry matches from the neck down to my wrists and fingers. I’m all set! Do I look 65 years old in that cute outfit – heck no! Maybe 40 or 45 at the oldest, if my makeup and hair is as right as the outfit!
A combination beauty and fashion tip to pass on is to never match your eye shadow with the color of the top or dress you’re wearing. It tends to make you look twenty years older than your actual age, trust me, it’s just not a good look. No matter what color your dress or tops are, stick with the natural brown or gray palettes of colors with your eye shadow.
Here’s one of my favorite fashion tips! Don’t wear hose or tights darker than the heels or boots you are wearing! The only time this is really appropriate is when you are wearing white heels. And if you’re wearing white heels, go with the colors called “Barely There” or “Little Color” with Hanes Silk Reflections panty hose. Purchase one size larger than you think you need.
Girls, if you’re wearing opened toe sandals, don’t wear hose at all! Paint your toe nails and use L’Oreal Tanning Lotion on your legs if you need to develop a quick tan. It will take you a little while to learn how to apply the lotion to get a nice even tan on your legs from your feet to the highest parts of your thighs, but you’ll get the hang of it rather quickly. Don’t forget to wash your hands right after you apply the lotion or the palms or your hands will turn brown! If your toes aren’t pretty, just wear some closed toe heels and forget the nail polish.
Another fashion suggestion regardless of your age; don’t shy away from shopping in the Junior’s Department of stores either on line or in the brick and mortar stores. It’s important to note the selection of clothing in the Junior’s Department is not just for teenage girls! Half of my wardrobe has come from there (I’m 65). Their selection of clothing is extremely cute and the sizes fit just right! The only difference between the sizes in the Ladies’ or Women’s departments and the Junior’s Department is they use odd sizing numbers rather than even. I’m usually a size 12 in the Women’s and a size 11 fits me perfect in Junior’s! The selection in that department is incredible, and again, not just for teenagers for sure!
Now girls, don’t be afraid to experiment with colors you might not have tried before. I never thought I would look good in Royal Blue. The first time I did a photo shoot wearing a royal blue Calvin Klein dress with black trim and paired the dress with shear jet black hose and a pair of sexy black ankle strapped closed toe pumps, I looked like a damn movie star! The same thing happened when I did my first photo shoot in a dark pink floral Calvin Klein dress! I didn’t think dark pink would go well with my skin tone and boy was I wrong on that one! Now I will tell you, I don’t look good at all in the color yellow. Bottom line; don’t be afraid to try colors you don’t think will look great on you. Take pictures in different settings so you can see for yourself what looks good.
Now as far as both fashion and beauty go, the fit of anything you’re wearing is pretty darn critical. If the clothing comes close to fitting but you still look a little lumpy in it, make sure to wear some firm fitting shape wear. My best tip for shape wear is always purchase one size smaller than the packaging recommends. The tighter the better as far as I’m concerned. Just don’t get it where it’s cutting off your circulation! Getting the right shapewear to make everything you wear fit and look that much better has a definite learning curve associated with it!
I would be remiss if I overlooked the subjects of diet and exercise when it comes to beauty. There’s no way Miss Scarlett here is going to suggest you eat kale and lentil soup for three meals a day! What you do need to do is cut out as much sugar as possible. You absorb so many empty calories by drinking soft drinks and eating candy and snack cakes. During my current diet, those were the first three items on my list I had to totally give up, and it wasn’t easy at all! Even though I’m 65 years old, I still eat as much candy as I did when I was 10 years old. I cut all of the candy, soft drinks, and snack cakes completely out of my diet.
Plain oatmeal made with boiling water (not the sugary instant oatmeal) with skim or 2% milk and a little local honey with a cup of fresh fruit and a bottled water will start your day off perfectly. You’ll be shocked at what eating plain oatmeal will do for the overall health of your digestive tract within the first two days of eating the oatmeal. Then for lunch and dinner try sticking with fish or lean chicken and pair that protein up with a salad made with some fresh cut up vegetables with some robust zesty Italian dressing. Try getting in the habit of drinking tea or water on ice both with squeezed lime or lemon in it to add flavor. Lay off the beer! Maybe a glass of red, peach, or white wine with your final meal of the day would be OK! Just try and stay away from carbonated drinks period.
I started exercising with aerobic exercises to get my heart rate up and burn the fat off in the right places – with me it’s my midsection, face, and neck. Currently, we don’t have access to gyms so all you have to do is to walk fast or jog around the neighborhood or on a nice trail near your home. Or you can hop on a bike and just cruise around your safe neighborhood streets or go to a nearby safe bike path and ride or walk fast on the path for 40 minutes three or four times per week. Do some simple floor exercises and some light weight training. Google both to get some great ideas how to target the areas you want to improve!
Well you pretty CDH girls, I could go on with more pages of these hot tips on fashion and beauty. For now, I hope you found something that will be of help to you in either fashion or beauty. I’ll leave a few questions below for you to ponder, and then you can offer up a response to either my article or one or more of the questions I’ve posed to you below.
- Do you believe you should always dress age appropriate regardless of what your age is?
- What are some of the more difficult items you regularly eat or drink, which you are hooked on and you’ll need to cut completely out of your diet to get that body of yours in tip top cross dressing shape?
- What are some of the colors which look fabulous on you as a pretty girl, and what are some that simply don’t?
I love you Crossdresser Heaven girls and thanks again for reading my article!

Claudia, I think God has me here to help as many girls as possible take their cross dressing skills to their own individual highest levels possible! I love helping others! I used to teach Math and Algebra for six years after retiring from a very high profile position. And know I’m allergic to kids. So I’m on here teach adults to become the best cross dressers they can be and I love doing just that! Sorry it took so long to get back to you! I’ve been out in the yard, planting bed, and garage and Home Depot for over… Read more »

Thanks a bunch, Misha! Most all of the girls on here love the advice I dish out to them in all of my nine articles I’ve written so far. You would believe the hundreds and hundreds of girls who have come to me by way of private messages for help over the past three years. A few of them I’ve turned into movie stars. They were excellent listeners and applied every tip I gave to them. Now a couple of them are stars on this site. See Danielle Wayne for example. She sends me a note on a regular basis… Read more »

Hi Scarlett You are always good looking and yes, I am stunned by your real age, you just look amazing every time girl, always a winner. Thanks for your article, very interesting. I don’t thing one needs to dress regarding you’re age, as many of us only start on a higher age to come out of the closet if you know what I mean. I love to try new dresses, it even includes a schoolgirl uniform that I find attractive and bit naughty sometimes even I become 40 soon. But, I find it interesting every time, one think you dress… Read more »
I agree, Vicky! The more makeup one puts on, the older they look. That’s why you can tell I wear very little of it. You start plastering your face with a pile of liquid and powder foundation makeup, and every single age line in your face shows up. Sometimes I don’t even use base makeup because of that fact. When it comes to makeup, less is best. Same with breasts. I some some girls post photos with size 52 DDDDDDDDD breasts! And they look so idiotic. I use size 38B silicone breasts for foam breasts depending on whether I’m wearing… Read more »

Scarlett… Enjoyed you description of your Seasonal wardrobe selections. As I spend hours reading most of the Ladies biography sketches & viewing their photos, I lament many are no where near as fortunate as Scarlett. You are to be comended for reaching this plateau in your life, and our many thousands of sisters need to be nurtured to get out of the closet and Break Down the Front Door. I teach the " Art" of CDing here in the Puget Sound of WA. It is a wonderful feeling to help another find a way to accomplish their wildest dreams in… Read more »
