We all love ABBA.....dont we???....well, somebody did, as they sold zillions of singles and albums....and still do!!!..Were they Sweden's biggest earners???.....outselling Volvo???
Didn't you love the glitter, the sequins, those high heeled boots....and that was just Benny and Bjorn!!!!!
Who didn't want to be one of the girls.....oh those videos......
Despite all those killer number one singles, some of the album tracks were amazing.....
So if you did like them.....favourite tracks????....personally I love them ALL.....but for this thread....here's three....
For grace...an album track called " Move on"......beautiful...
Secondly....." The day before you came".....brilliantly written....
Last but not least...."Dancing Queen".....oh my goodness, who hasn't tapped their feet to that!!!
Knowing me, knowing you...

I liked ABBA, but I really liked Bananarama!
Eva
Great choices Eva. Who doesn't love Venus?
Sotty, not really in my musical tastes, but I did like Dancing queen, lol
Hugs, Regi👩💕
Eva....now that's really saying something....
I really liked all of their hits- my SO was a big fan.
Probably Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Name of the Game.🤗
I have two left feet and zero rhythm. But I adore swing dresses! And I love to get out on the floor and be led around by guys, so I pretend.
"Take a Chance on Me" seems topical
“Thank You For The Music” was one of my favorite ABBA tracks. I always stop to listen to an ABBA song whenever I hear one on the radio. I also have several songs on my digital playlists. So, if you’re unfamiliar with ABBA, I highly recommend “Take A Chance.”
Way past my “Waterloo,”

like the track from Abba gimmie gimmie gimmie man after midnight. Actually all their songs are great
Hi Grace,
Did you know ABBA didn’t know a word of English. All lyrics had to be broken down into English bits.
Alice
I loved all of their songs but my one favorite best of all is Dancing Queen.
I saw the movies "Mamma Mia" and "Mamma Mia 2". Loved both of them.
Kathleen xxxxx 💋♥
Hi Alice....I have some really early stuff by Agnetha....all sung in Swedish, but still sounds great xx
Oh the nights spent boogying away to an ABBA song in Chicago's (UK nightclub chain owned by Luminar) brings fond memories.
Unfortunately, not wearing any of their outfits or boots but definitely in my own bubble on the dancefloor.
Still a firm facourite in my Spotify playlists.
Love Rachel
I loved them from the moment I saw them win the Eurovision song contest in 1974 (in Brighton) to the last album.
I own all the albums on vinyl - they're the only band whose back catalogue I own in the entirety apart from Queen.
What's not to like?
The stunning vocals, impeccable arrangements and production, the awesome costumes, especially the early ones - S.O.S. Mmmm!
I always fancied Anni, but wanted to look like Agnetha, and the sound of the intro to any ABBA song at a disco is guaranteed to get me up and dancing, like a dancing queen (in my mind - I probably look demented, but it's the feeling that counts, right?) 😍😍😍😍
I don't find this an issue with the fact that I love metal music too.
In fact, I've been in a Black Sabbath cover band, and tried to convince them that we should be called Black sABBAth.
ABBA - The Album is probably my favourite, but Voulez Vous, Arrival and The Visitors are amazing too.
Top picks: The Eagle, The Girl With the Golden Hair (the mini musical), The Winner Takes it All.
Hate the Mamma Mia movies with a quite unreasonable passion. Can't bear to hear those amazing songs being murdered like that.
