I was looking for some book recommendations revolving around cding. Maybe a memoir. I dug through this section of the forums but never found a definitive list. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest "Crossdressing With Dignity" by Peggy Ruud.
A very interesting person and speaker. I once drove down to Dallas to attend a CD meeting she was speaking at. Very fascinating to say the least. I bought my copy and got her to sign it for me. Very good read.
