Some Like it Hot definitely one of- ahead of its time perhaps. The Danish Girl with Eddie Redmayne was also very good but much more serious take. However my favourite like a few others is Kinky Boots ❤️
@stephaniec63 I wish there was a colorized version of Some Like It Hot. I would like to see the dresses and other femme wear that Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon wear in color.
@aliceblack you’re right there. The styles and colours i reckon were great from that era. I think another discussion if not asked before: which decade had the best femme fashions from say 1920 to 1990. Think I might post that after my vacation 🥰
I remember watching Just Like a Woman when it came out, and being a British film helped with that.
My other favourite is Too Wong Foo, if nothing else the magnificent transformation of Patrick Swayze. I like to say before I start my makeup, "Ready or not, here comes Samantha.."
