Hi all,
May I encourage some salivation?
I'm eating out with friends tomorrow. UK girls and maybe others around the world will understand what a shock to the system this 'going out for a meal' still is!
So where will I be going? Nowhere fancy, although the name is quite impressive. In a little village outside the town of Brecon in Wales, it's called the International Welsh Rarebit Centre, and, you guessed it, if you don't like cheese you might want to pass. It's actually no big deal to make your own at home, but they do so many variations on the theme, that there'll be some unthought of variations to tempt you.
... and then, when you've finished your pot of tea or whatever, a short stroll down to the churchyard takes you to an ancient yew tree, which some claim to be 5,000 years old, although more conservative voices suggest it may be 'only' 2,000. One thing guaranteed to give me goosebumps - well apart from a bra that seems to fit me - is to be in the presence of things so ancient that you can't get your head round it.
When I go again tomorrow, I'll try not to take a sharp knife, a plastic bag, and rooting powder in case I'm tempted to do some gardening 😉

We recently headed out for Korean over the weekend, with my wife's niece and her husband.
It did feel abit weird to "go out" and eat. The previous weekend my wife and I went to an all you can eat sushi place, and it was delicious.
