I was looking at some things on IMDB when I came across The Tracey Ullman Show. It's ironic, OK and a little funny too but I'm sure she agrees, how she managed to launch everybody else to superstardom. The Simpsons started as a 30 second cartoon on her show, voiced by the same actors. Paula Abdul was the choreographer on that show. And she's at least partly responsible for making the Fox network the big network it is today. And yet she's been nothing but genuinely happy for all of them.
Yes she was. If I remember right she got her first big break as a choreographer on that show. But now that I think of it, I think Tracey helped convince her to sing professionally. She has an eye for recognizing talent early.
Whoops! I had it backwards. The Tracey Ullman Show ran from 1987 to 1990, In Living Color ran from 1990 to 2006. According to Wikipedia, Paula made a singing demo in 1987. Yup, I'm pretty sure Tracey helped encourage her.
