@cdh Thanks for the update, Vanessa. It's a definite upgrade! I love the larger and expressive emojis, and the thought of a private photo sharing forum for Baroness, Duchess, and Princess members is a very nice treat to keep in mind. Change is good. Love it.

@fishingr8 Hi hon, You'll need to click the 'Subscribe' button to start receiving emails again when someone posts in the forum. If you go to the Introductions forum here: https://www.crossdresserheaven.com/community/introductions-new-members/ and subscribe you'll get notified by email when a new topic is posted.
You can do the same for other forums as well.

@cdh Please put the most recent replies to recent topics first instead of last. Pretty hard to go through 23 pages to find the latest reply!!!
@stephaniewyo hi hon, if you click 'New' next to a thread you will be taken to the new replies since you last viewed the topic.
@cdh I just found the personal menus that seemed to disappear from its familiar spot. It was easy to miss while using a small screen. I guess that I missed the memo.
For others who also wondered where it went, it has its own icon, now. A light grey hamburger (the familiar three horizontal lines) with a plus sign beside it.
@cdh I just noticed that the Local Places list only shows a fraction of what’s available on TGH and none of the ones that I forwarded (50+).
@flatlander48 @billiejay I think we're still looking for someone to take on Places on cdh, so unfortunately I don't believe they've been kept as up to date as tgh.
@cdh It used to be up to date. The ones that I submitted were there about 4 years ago but this was the first time that I looked in at last 2 years.
@cdh I have assumed that it is the same database that is used on TGH. If that is the case, it is disconnected here as it appears to work correctly on TGH.
@cdh That’s interesting because I originally submitted 50+ links to CDH, and that was the basis of my discount. However, the links also appear on TGH. That suggests that initially everything was loaded to both sites or that early on there was only one database.
@flatlander48 Hi hon,
We used to have an Ambassador who would add all new submissions on both sites, but we no longer have someone helping in that role anymore.
@cdh I would suggest that there be only one database as crossdressers aren’t perceived any different when among the general public. Seems to me that the same data applies.
@cdh I still get an inconsistent response when I click on the orange "new" button.
Sometimes I am taken to a new post, sometimes I am left stuck at the top of the thread. At least there is now a "Last Post" link in the header.
@cdh Hi Vanessa, Not trying to be a pain but I dont understand why the replies to topics are not listed in chronological order. with the latest responses on the top. Clicking on the new button sometimes take you to the newest response but not always. If there are multiple pages of replies with the new replies buried amongst the pages it is very difficult to find the most recent response. Really killing the browsing joy of just clicking on the topic and being able to read the latest in a flowing way.
Again sorry to harp on this but I think it really affects the flow of the forums.
@cdh Fairly often, I click on a link from a notification and all that I get is the thread. Usually the first post, IIRC. A link like this ends with the post number, so the CMS should be able to figure out where to jump. For example:

I don't think that it is browser related.
@cdh I try to keep up with notifications and manually delete the ones which don't automatically get deleted, so that they don't accumulate. Start each session with a clean slate, so to speak.
However, there are two different sets of notifications and they aren't always the same in each set and they aren't always presented in the same way, either.
One thing that makes managing this a bit onerous, is that the sets linked through the top bell, beside the forum's name, is that one response can generate four notifications: two stating the same mention, and two notifications about any reply.
This is all a bit much.
@cdh I tried liking some profile photos and each time that I clicked a like it unliked the previous like, so, as a result, I could only choose one to like.
@cdh Blocked Android login
When using Android, normal logins are still blocked by a new layer over the page when I click on the login link at the top right of a page or if I try to use the login links at the bottom a page.
The layer's contents does not actually get displayed and only clicking on the X, to close the pop-up, is possible. I think this pop-up is a form to subscribe to the site's newsletter. It's been too long now to remember what it is for sure.
I have tried a bunch of the major Android browsers, including Chrome (and derivatives) and Firefox. None allow the login process to finish because of this pop-up.
The only way I can login is to go to a normal thread, click on Reply, which then pops up a different login button with a pink background, at the top, which bypasses this whole pop-up layer issue.
All of this is frustrating.
It took a few clicks but the learning curve was less than 10 minutes for me. And I really do feel like it is an improvement! Thanks to the lovely ladies that keep this forum in tip top shape!

I'm still finding my way around. One feature I haven't figured out yet is how to get a list of forums with new posts since my last visit. I see only the link to recent topics. Similar but not quite what I'm after.
@jenna116 thx hone. Unfortunately our new platform doesn't yet support that feature.
May I ask what you use that feature for? As compared with look at new topics, or clicking through to a forum and looking at new topics in that forum?

That feature allows me to look at threads that are of particular interest to me and to pick up where I left off when commenting.
The ability to look at new topics is OK, but I can't tell if I've already commented on them or look at anything that is new in that thread.

Being an "oldie", I quite liked the old format and since I'm still .... yes.... using a laptop, I find the way the recent and unread posts are laid out quite confusing.
The idea, that the latest reply coms last in a forum does not work well when it's one like "what do you feel when wearing a bra" IE there x hundred responses and it taks too long to find the last one.
On a personal note most of my stats have disappeared off the bottom of my profile.
maybe someone can sort that when you geta minute.

@ryanpaul Hi hon, it looks like you've been with us long enough that you were able to join with a space in your username. A true OG 😀 That's what's causing the issue with your profile stats showing up. Spaces in usernames also caused issues on other areas of the site too.
I've removed the space in your username and you should now see your stats show up correctly.
If you click on 'New' next to a topic, you'll be taken to see the topics that you haven't read yet.

Is it possible to view another member's profile page on phone? There doesn't appear to be an option like there is on computer.

@jacquelinelarkspur It is possible hon, you can click on their name if you're coming from the forums and you'll be taken to their wall. When you're on their wall you can click the three dots to access their profile.

Hurrah! Yes, you've fixed it! The new icon now shows, and the menu behind it includes the member profile. And I didn't even have to clear cache or cookies!

@cdh yes I'd noticed this. But if you jiggled around a bit the wall and profile options would appear. Glad to see it's fixed now though xx.
