Dear readers,

It has been almost two months since I last shared with you. Even though I have been far from my keyboard, you have not been far from my thoughts. I have been so blessed in my transgender journey that I feel a tugging need to give back to the community.

As a writer my words, my thoughts and experiences are the way in which I can most deeply honor you. Through my journey I have had many who helped me. There were those who touched me directly in person, but I took no small measure of courage from the articles I read on the Internet and from the stories I got lost in, crafted by talented writers such as Jennifer Boylan.

During these last few months I have discovered a beautiful and powerful part of my life. I believe I’ve been living life the way I was meant to be. As the scars of surgery fade and the waves of recovery ebb I feel healed and whole.

Yet as I don my life fully, I find that I have less time to reflect and share. I go to sleep at night after a full day with so much still undone.

I started Crossdresser Heaven to discover who I was, and to share my journey so that others may find love, encouragement and compassion. Now that I have less time to write for Crossdresser Heaven, I know that I am no longer fulfilling the mission I started with.

I need some help!

A call for contributors

Any online community thrives with regularly updated content that shares a diverse perspective with the world. I want to ensure that Crossdresser Heaven can continue to serve cross dressers, transgender women, those questioning their gender identity and the partners and families of those in the community. So I am asking for your help!

I’m looking for 3 or 4 writers who would be willing to write an article a month for Crossdresser Heaven. If you want to touch thousands with your journey or encourage those just starting their own, please email me at vanessalaw1@gmail.com. If you want to inspire someone to take their first courageous step, or weep with a wife who just discovered her husband is a cross dresser, please email me.

I look forward to hearing from you, and to keep the community on Crossdresser Heaven strong for years to come.

With hugs and blessings,
Vanessa

Hello Vanessa,

I wish I was a native speeker... your "Blog", your project is always a great inspiration for me. Especially because you are so open minded and never focused on only one grout of the wide range of transsexual, transgender, crossdressing,... humans.

Your page was very helpful on my way to live my identity more and feel more free in what I am. I still have a long way to got. But with your help I learned to enjoy that I feel like a woman though I have the male equipment. My shoe and fashion style changed a little, my relationship changed and grew. I am lucky that my wife supports me.

I will keep reading... I really wish I was better in writing english texts 😉

yours,
Sissy

I would love to contribute and also bring a new perspective. My wife is fully supportive and we are telling our story on my blog. While she hasn't quite gotten to the point of me coming out to her, she is close. We have had a rough marriage and me coming out as a crossdresser believe it or not saved our marriage and brought us closer than we have been in our 13+ years married.

Dear Vanessa,
Thank you for such a great website! I've enjoyed the stories about other CD’s expressions, and their grasp of whom they really are inside. I’ve been fortunate enough to be in relationships where my tendency is understood and encouraged. My fiancée L, who loved to shop together, would have "slumber parties" and we would do each other's make up! It is so much fun to go dress shopping with the person you love, and have the secret to share. I have an amazing wardrobe of dresses, skirts, blouses, make up, purses, shoes and intimates. Half of my closet is dress shirts, Dockers, and flannel, and the other half has my "soft" clothes. I'm not passable because I am very large and tall, (6'9" in my 5" heels...)and have a goatee I would really hate to shave off. I'm not the least bit homosexual, but simply enjoy the feel of women's clothing against my skin. I absolutely love to be outdoors in the summer, in a long sun dress, reading a book. My love for dressing began at an early age, and recall a day in Elementary school where the boys were to dress up like girls. Sadly, I didn't participate, because I was so afraid of being discovered that I REALLY liked silky things! Even the class bully was sporting a dress that day and was wearing make-up. Now, I look forward to Halloween annually so I can walk around the mall in a skirt and a blouse, and my leather heels, with minimal strange looks. I finally became tired of hiding my expression in my 30's. But, I'm all man...working on cars, deer hunting, and watching football are my favorite past times. It just feels remarkable to wear panty hose under my Carhartt's, or a half-slip under a sweater. No one at work knows I'm wearing Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau under my Dockers! My advice to wives whom discover that their husband dresses, he is still the man you loved before you discovered his secret...now you just need larger closets! Another way to look at it, he's man enough to wear a dress. Be supportive; be understanding; you cannot "counsel" this out of him, and he will resist the change. If you cannot evolve your thinking, you may push him away. Open your minds...you now have something else in common that may bring you even closer. This tendency is more widespread than you think... and it's okay. Bugs Bunny was often drawn in a dress. Take him to an Ulta, Sephora or a Dress Barn. There is nothing wrong with him hanging his Calvin Klein double breasted suit, next to a Vera Wang. Thank you Vanessa, for the chance to discover your website, and type my diatribe. I hope my message reaches many readers, and encourages men and women, to better understand this normal, healthy affliction.

Hi Dani I recently told my wife that I wear her clothes and to my suprise she took me shopping to buy my own she still feels uncomfortable being intimate while I'm dressed but I'm sure this will pass
I'm 41 and have been dressing since puberty

Hello,

I am a 19 year old teen adult and I have been a cross dresser since I was 6. This blog site has helped get the courage to tell my girlfriend and my mother that I am a cross dresser. Thank you so much for your advice and input Vanessa!

Hi Vanessa.
I'm not a crossdresser, I'm a pre-op MTF and having surgery in December. I'm 200 pages into a book about change and transition to fill in the missing pieces for those of us who are trans or questioning it. I'm getting great response to what I'm writing and think I would be perfect for your needs. I can give you an essay from the book each month to post. I am trying to keep things in the book relative to anyone, but would be happy to add in a personal perspective to each piece if you want to use me. You can view the pages I've posted at:

I think we would mesh well!
hugs, Suzie
