It breaks my heart to read of those plagued by guilt induced by any form of religion and especially Christianity. I have been a Christian for 60 plus years but not from inheriting it from my parents. I grew up in a church that simply didn't condemn people. I was very fortunate and it was not until I moved to the South that I have found out how fortunate I was. If you skip the old testament and the writings of Paul and go straight to what Jesus taught those who call a brother or sister "(Raka) meaning low functioning person" is the one bound for hell not the woman caught in adultery, not the not the extortioner Zachaeus. Those were obvious breaches of ethics but crossdressing is realizing our gentle, nurturing self too long ignored and too little protected by the male culture.
I like what C.S. Lewis wrote about hell in the fictional work THE GREAT DIVORE. Only those who have lost the ability to enjoy heaven go to hell. Fire and flames seem weird to think of for people who have no bodies; I think it is an inner agony where the pain they have inflicted on others is brought to mind repeatedly, like everyone at a bull fight feeling the pain of the bull. I am convinced that the only people who go to hell are those addicted to hating, an acid that has destroyed their souls. I once confronted a KKK leader; when I looked into his eyes nothing human was looking back.
We have gone toward the light of healing done by the male world and thereby can identify more closely with those on the outside looking in. I have never heard or seen on any crossdressing site deep prejudice, stereotyping, mean words. We have been given a gentle spirit by God, a direct way to heal each other through our connections, and a great fashion sense also by God. Who can doubt looking at orchids, roses, and lilacs that God has a great fashion sense.
