Ugh... When I read statements like this, "Not many woman would be caught dead wearing 6″ heels and a mini-skirt that barely covers their panties." It does become quite apparent that our community is very divided and is the reason why we'll always be the outcasts in the LGBTQ community, not to mention being outcasts within our own community. I can go out any weekday to the city and see 50-60 women dress just as scandalous if not more so within an hour and if it's a Friday or Saturday than easily 100's of women dressed like that. Since when has dressing sexy and to be a tease make you a whore? Tell any GG that they dress like a whore and see how fast you end up getting into a fight with them. If anything, it tends to be women who can't pull off the look that refer to those that can as whores or sluts because of jealousy...

I have been cd for2 years now mainly in doors with my fiancée approval and encouragement , she even buys me the clothes to wear, recently I have started to go for walks late at night and I have to say I find it a great turn on knowing people are watching me dressed in shortish skirt see through top and semi high heel boots, my latest venture was when we had a naughty night away I went to a club dressed up while my fiancée watched in the background, I'm 55 and she is 34, so if I can do it anyone can, basically what I'm saying is if you want to cd just go for it you won't regret it.

I'm 54 years old man and I have been wanting to dress up as a woman. Do not know how. I do have my shoe size. I Have been using natural breast enhancements since 2014. Not a quick way. I'm a 42/A bra size. I know nothing more. Makeup, dress size, pants, I'm 220 pounds and a belly and I am 5ft.11

What you say is very true,just look at Girls who put images online most have dresses or tight short skirts heels and often the wrong wig or hair.
From the start i wore a pleated skirt i tried a tight short skirt which i bought from a store it looked good but i couldn't ..at that time get the smooth flat front
As you say try cloths that you look good in and looks change with age so a reason to shop

See I think I must be the misfit here. I like lookibg like a man in a dress look. For me, its easier and cheaper.

Here is what I mean. I don't have to buy make-up(don't like it anyways), don't need to buy breast forms or pads, no need for padded panties, and so on.

I can just shop with my true body size, and I can keep my beard and chest hair.

Like spring is just starting now and my spring/summer maxi dresses can come out again.

Sure I get looks and hate talk when I'm in public, but that not my problem. I just like to think that. They are jealous that they can't look as good as me in a beard and dress combo.

I just comfortable me being me. Who said a crossdresser has to look like a women to crosdress? I am here to say, " You Don't Have To Look Female To Crossdress!"

That’s so true. Every place I’ve looked for ideas on how to dress, they look like a tramp. Some were WAY too much makeup. I’m trying to pass as a woman, not be a tramp. For me it’s the thrill of being a man in public, dressed as a woman and nobody else knows.

I remember when I came this realization myself. I wanted to dress like a teenage girl. But I’m not a teenager I’m middle aged.
So I started dressing my age. I looked at how my wife dressed and I mirrored her.
I ended up with what I’ve been told by some ladies on here is a very “mom appropriate style” and I’m not offended to hear that.
I realized a woman my age would probably be a mom and as such I that’s how I should look. I’ve been very happy with my results. I feel like I’m very passable now as a woman. I wear longer skirts and dresses, jeans and higher necklines.

Though I would truly love to have a more feminine body, and that will never happen, I’m content with just underdressing. I do wear panties24/7, a bra at least 6 days with forms every week along with other feminine under garments and have done so for many years. Super fortunate that my wife is very, very excepting. I’m at a happy place and supportive of anyone that can enjoy dressing no matter at what level and feel sorry for those that are in a DADT relationship. CDing is such a harmless thing and life is short so happy dressing.

Hi I do agree with what you say and I think that there is a difference within the crossdressing community, there are those who see cross dressing as a sexual fantasy and in their minds I think they want to be that glamorous sexual object of desire, while others of us are more interested in being a woman and being accepted as such by other women and men around us. This is why we spend so much time watching how GG's dress, walk and talk and then doing our best to imitate them. Acceptance is our goal. That is not to say that we dont also want to feel sexy and desirable, we do but just not be looked at as sexual objects.

I think often when someone is starting with cd they imagine themselves as a certain type of woman, beautiful sexy etc. I think it's best to dress your age as a woman. I think we need to be realistic and take it 1 step at a time. This is the second time l have tried cd, last time l used to take the dog for a walk just after dark. My wife applies my make-up and it looks pretty good. I am still in the closet however when the weather warms up my wife and l intend on going on a picnic, that way l will be out in public and it will help to build confidence.  I do think though people need to dress age appropriately.  Just my opinion  xx Jane
