Vanessa, just wanted to say thanks for your website. I have been recieving it for about 2 months now and look forward to getting it. I am a 60 yr old MtoF crossdresser with a wonderful supporting wife. The only thing really missing in my life is a deeper spiritual relationship with my Lord who fully understands and accepts that I am Transgendered. Further to your introductory article, I would like to add some information pertaining to my crossdressing.
My first wife died after 51 years of marriage and during that time I never really crossdressed although the seed was there. I am a goodly age and go back to the time when wearing women's clothes was actually ilegal. Plus 14 years in the navy didn't excactly lend itself to being an open crossdresser. Additionally, my wife and I had 3 sons, and being a product of a broken marriage myself, I was determined it was gong to happen to me. So the subject never came up.
When she died, as sad as that was, it released me from my responsibilities. and I started to dress. In the ensuing 7 years I have made some very good friends and we support each other a great deal. I have some interesting little anecdotes concerning these friendships. Additionally, about 6 years ago I was introduced to a women who whole- heartedly supports my dressing. She has a lot of good quality fashion experience, having worked in 'mother of the bride' retail, from which really benefited .
So now I go out dressed, meet my neighbours while en-femme and don't really care what people think of me when I'm dressed as a woman. Three of us were out to dinner last night. My wife, a CD friend and me. Three girls having a good time.
