Hi Girls! Today I’ll be covering as much as I can about shapewear in as few words as possible – which is a real challenge given the numbers and styles of the various forms of female shapewear! I’m gonna save you a pile of money as well!

Shapewear comes in many shapes and styles designed to give a lady an elegant, classy, cute, and sexy look while wearing her clothing. The words used to describe different types of shapewear I currently own include the following: bras, corsets or waist trainers, butt and hip enhancers, body briefers (both full and no breast types), and waist trimmers. I own every single type of these forms of shapewear in their three basic colors – black, nude/beige, or white – depending on what I’m going to wear that day or night over the shapewear.

All the above noted forms of shapewear may have different descriptive names assigned to them, and I couldn’t begin to list them all in a limited amount of words.

Here’s a couple of my best money saving tips when purchasing shape wear. 1) Please don’t go online and spend $100 to $300 on some silicone butt or hip enhancers or a pair of $200 silicone breasts. What a waste of money! Especially when you can get exactly what you need for a fraction of those prices! 2) You can purchase all the shape wear you need online at Amazon or in brick and mortar stores such as Walmart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, The Ross Stores, or The Burlington Stores.

When it comes to silicone breasts, you can’t beat Amazon for the quality and price. Mine are gorgeous in a perfect 38B size and a perfect tear-drop shape with the most beautiful nipples on them you’ve ever seen! I only paid 28 bucks for them on Amazon and have had them for over five years. They are still perfect! My foam breasts I purchased online from of all places – Walgreens! They are extremely light weight, and I use them when I’m wearing my strapless bras, which are needed for dresses or tops that are shear from the top of the breasts to the top of my shoulders-(so no bra straps are showing.)

My butt and hip enhancers cost between $10 and 15 dollars from Amazon. I like the ones that come with the removable foam pads, have interior pockets for the pads, and have about a 2-inch piece of stretch lace at the bottom of the spandex panties. You usually must purchase the butt and hip-padded panties separately and put on both pairs when wearing something that has a snug fit around your butt. And when you order on Amazon Prime, the shipping is free, and the items are on your porch either in one or two days!

My corsets or waist trainers come from Amazon or all the brick and mortar stores noted above. The price for them ranges from $14 to $25 each. I have them in all three of the basic colors – black, nude, and white. The same goes for the purchase of full body briefers or braless body briefers. The location of purchase is the same as corsets or waist trainers and the prices are the same as well. When it comes to body briefers, you can buy them online or at any of the brick and mortar stores noted above.

Here’s another couple of my very important Scarlett shapewear tips for you! First; when purchasing online, take the time to read the reviews from the customers who’ve already purchased the items you’re looking at. These reviews are critical to finding out about form, fit, function, and durability! I never buy any shapewear online without reading these very important reviews! Secondly; I usually purchase my shapewear one size smaller than recommended on the size charts. I like a firm fit when it comes to creating my girly curves! In many of the photos that you see of me on CDH, the only shapewear I have on is a size 38B bra with my 38B silicone breasts inserted in the bra. I simply don’t need shapewear when wearing dresses that have some sort of flare from the waist down.

And speaking of breasts; Many crossdressers think “Bigger is better or sexier!” – WRONG! – That’s just not the case! In my Scarlett photos, I’m wearing 38B silicone breasts in a 38B bra. Based on the overwhelming number of compliments I receive, from so many of the sweet girls on this site, it confirms that my breast-size choice is the right choice! I want to thank you girls for all your lovely notes. I never take any of them for granted. Thank you so much for sending them to me!

Well girls, that’s a good start on this topic. I’m sure you may have additional questions you want answers to. If you have further questions regarding shapewear, please send them to me in a private message.

Love, Scarlett  XOXOXO

Thank you Scarlett for the information on this very important subject. I have a few things, and some work better than others, and I hate over paying for things like this!

You're more than welcome, Amy! Yes, the places that advertise on line charge way too much money for their shape wear products. There's absolutely no sense in overpaying a bundle for these items when you can get them for next to nothing by putting the words associated with what you need in a search block and hit the "enter button" and sit back and watch the bargains come to you! Or simply go to those brick and mortar stores noted about and don't be shy about taking them right up to the register to purchase them! If any sales person asks you who you are buying them for, just say "I'm actually buying them for myself because I love to cross dress!"

Love ya Amy! XOXO Scarlett

Yeah. I agree with (almost) everything you said. I buy all my shape wear and forms and wigs from Amazon UK - who offer free delivery to amazon lockers or pick up locations, for privacy reasons. I have several sets of forms and they have lasted extremely well. I am a 38" chest but find a 40" band size a little more comfortable. My (current) favourite forms are 2XL 600gm/1200gm a pair which gives me a generous C-cup profile or maybe a D in a push up bra. I used to thing "bigger was better" but since realising that I am TG rather than a vanilla CD I now prefer at most a D cup profile. I have found that the male ribcage (boo hoo) is differently shaped and generally bigger than a cis womans, and so I need a correspondingly larger cup/form size to be in the correct proportions - B cup forms look lost on me. A few sets of cheaper forms from Amazon are better value and offer more flexibility than one pair of expensive forms. And I do like to experiment with my look!

Good for you Girl Friend! Stephanie, I'm so happy you took the time to read my article and appreciated the information I passed onto the girls at CDH in order to save them time and money. And also land them on the variety of products they may need to adds some curves to their girlyness! I know that's not a word but I thought I would use it anyway!

Thanks for taking the time to compose this informative article, Scarlett. Exchanging CD tips on how to look more beautiful and save money at the same time has always been a priority with me. IMHO, supporting each other is what we loving sisters should do. Here in Atlanta we are blessed with a plethora of shopping choices, but Amazon has also been my friend, many times. We have a huge number of thrifts, and I see CDs and trans girls all the time, shopping the racks, scoring bargains. They know me by my female name at many thrifts. I wonder if that makes me a regular?

Anyway, thank you again for sharing your knowledge and information! You always look hot in your photos. Oh honey, I love those black stilettos! Peggy can still wear stilettos and does, but my time in them is limited these days.

Hugs,

Peggy Sue in Atlanta

You're more than welcome, Peggy Sue! And by the way, I love Atlanta! My sexy redhead and I try to come to that wonderful city about twice a year. It's about a five hour drive from Pensacola. We stay in this spotless and wonderful Hampton Inn over in Buckhead. It's real close to Lennox Mall and there are some of our favorite shops just down the street from the Hampton Inn. Stores like TJ Maxx, Marhalls, The Ross Store, and many more.

There's so many things to see and do in Altanta. The traffic is a little crazy but we don't mind getting in it to go downtown to the Coca Cola Museum, the College Football Hall of Fame (my picture shows up in that place twice by the way - very long story as to why and I'll have to save that for another very long note to you!), the aquarium, the park with the water fountains, the Mercedes Benz dome, The Varsity and right across the street from The Varsity - Georgia Tech. And The Cheesecake Factory, which is one of my wife's favorite places to eat is right there among all the stores at Lennox Mall where we love to shop.

About a block or two away from the Hampton in one of those sky scrapers is where Bosley Medical is located and that's wear I had two very successful hair transplants done by Dr. Cronin who is now retired. Each time he gave me 2,000 grafts for $8,000 and the normal price though their sales rep there would have been $12,000 for each procedure with that many grafts. My hair transplants were done over 10 years ago and the hair is still with me and looking fantastic! What an ego and confidence booster the results of those two surgeries have been!

When you look at all of my public photos, that one of my in those black ankle strapped heals with the kinda shear skater skirt on with me wearing a tight fitting floral and nude colored body suite at part of the outfit, that body suit was purchased at Lennox Mall about three years ago while they were having one of their two huge semi annual sales. I bought my wife two others in different colors. The were regularly $40 a piece and I purchased all three for $19.99 a piece. They are really sexy and sometimes I'll pair them with a skater skirt or my wife will wear one to bed at the end of a date night when it's time to light the Yankee candles in the bedroom and get busy for a couple of hours! YUM YUM!

By the way, Peggy Sue, those black stilettos are by Calvin Klein and can be purchased on line at DSW.com! They are ultra sexy and very comfortable to walk in as well because of the small platform they put under the ball of the foot on the heels! They are a bit pricey at $69, however, when you see the quality of leather they use when putting their heels together, you'll understand why you'll wanna pay that price for them!

And yes, Peggy Sue, we are all here to support and encourage all of us who love the thrill of cross dressing and shopping for those clothes and bargains too. You're lucky you know where all the honey holes for girly clothing bargains are in all of Atlanta. Heck, I spend a ton on Scarlett right here in Pensacola. I can imagine how broke I would be if I lived in Atlanta!

Hey Peggy Sue, don't forget in a comment on one of your photos I sent you a beauty suggestion. I wanted you to try the brown pallets of eye shadow instead of those blue ones you usually have on. If you try the browns, you'll be shocked at how much youth it would add to your already beautiful looks. I promise! Give it a try and you'll see what I mean. This comes from my encouragement background! The girls come to me in private messages for makeup tips all of the time. As a matter of fact, the girls come to me for a list of tips on subjects having to do with cross dressing that are almost endless!

Love ya girl friend and thanks for writing me a lovely response to my article and my choice of clothing and heels!

XOXOXO Scarlett

Well I suppose everyone has their own preference when it comes to shapewear. But I don't believe in buying cheap. You have heard the saying, " You get what you pay for". But I am also not saying not to pay attention to price but rather what works and allows you to achieve the best figure possible of course as a woman. I have used a product called " Vedette" and you can google the Vedette Store and they have such a wide variety shapewear and bras. You can also buy these products on Amazon as well. And I will add even if you buy these products online directly from the Vedette Store you are not paying 100.00 to 300.00. It is more like 65.00 and in fact I had just bought one of their waist trainers that usually sells for 62.00 and I got directly from them on sale for 43.00. I have been using vedette products for over 11 years.
As for hip and butt pads , I use a product from a company called " Bubbles Wear". I know it is a funny name but they have a number of products that really work . Now I might add, these pads might not work for everyone. But I have using them for gosh over 4 years and they work fabulous. These pads are not made of this heavy silicone that weighs 10 to 12 pounds. LOL! I admit, I did use the heavy silicone pads from a few companies and they worked for a while but would eventually break down. To me, they made my hips and butt look too big. Oversized! Now of course, your hips and have to balance out with your shoulders. If you have broad shoulders, then you need possibly larger pads to even out your shape. Their is nothing worse seeing a beautiful crossdresser with broad shoulders and small hips. A woman does not have a shape that way as we all no. So if you do have broad shoulders then possibly the " Bubbles Wear" pads may not work for you. You will have to make that decision yourself. Again, I have used the heavy silicone butt and hip pads that very expensive and I know they feel like your own body when wearing them but if the Bubbles Wear Butt and Hip pads also feel real and also made of some kind of rubber product as well and only close 35.00 for the hip pads and 35.00 for the butt pads and you can buy them on Amazon or directly from their site as well and won't cost a humongous price like the heavy silicone products. Use what works for you.
As for breast forms! I really can't give you any advice because I gave mine away about 5 years ago and what you see in my photos are my own natural breasts. I do use some bras that give lift and I have bought my bra's from J.C. Penny for about 55.00 which is more that TJ Max or the other stores but I have used the bras from the other stores but J.C. Penny's have worked the best for me. I have will use some silicone enhancers depending on the dress I will wear and depending on the look I want to achieve. But I am a 36B with regards to bra's

I am not saying none of the other products work. But I am just telling you what has worked for me and I have done a lot of experimentation which has been very costly in past but I think I got it down which works for me but I suggest you take a look at the sites I have mentioned and see what you think and you can take a look at a few photos of mine here at Crossdresser Heave to see the end results.

Scarlett thanks for this interesting discussion and advice.

Sincerely
Diana Renee Baker

Thank you Diana for your site and product suggestions. I'll check them all out. Heck, you could have written this article. Most girls on this site are always looking for bargains and that's why I felt a need go the money saving route. But the items I recommended have good quality as well as very fair prices.

I'm a JC Penney bra girl as well! The Ambrielle brand is my preference because of the wideness of the straps, the durability of the straps, the width of the bra section that wraps around your sides and back. I also love the look and fit of those Ambrielle bras. I have purchased quite a few at Victoria's Secret when they have their semi annual sale each year. VS makes really good quality bras. it's the only brand my sexy redhead wears.

Well that's it for now Diana. Thanks for reading my article and taking time to send in such a comprehensive response. This article has only been up for a few days and the number of responses are already off the chain. There may be over 100 responses by the time this one comes to an end!

As always Scarlett your advice is the best! I purchased my breastforms from Amazon and went with the asymmetrical and a C cup size but then I have wide shoulders and a little overweight so they are proportional ! I do need to look into padding for hips and butt! Always a pleasure reading your posts and articles. Love ❤️ and hugs

One more thing........we want to look all in proper proportions. Look at all our sisters in the world.........giant boobs are not natural, in most cases.

You bet Dame and keep spreading those words on proper proportions. I see so many cross dressers go overboard in the breast department. They think bigger is better and sexier. I got news for them, big breasts are not the key to looking like a sexy classy lady!

I think those huge boobs and fat lips pumped up on all of those housewife reality shows are absolutely disgusting don't you?

And to be in proportion, the top portion of you has to come really close to matching the bottom of you! Keep spreading those words, Dame, and thanks so much for taking the time to read my article!

Thank you Jenna! This last batch of photos I posted I thought were some of my best ever. It was my very first try with girly shorts. I never owned a pair until two weeks ago and now I have about twelve pair. They are comfy, cute, kinda sexy, and very easy to put on unlike a dress with a zipper in the back. Those things can be a real challenge sometimes!

The advice I dished out on shape wear was basically letting our girls on CDH know what the basics they may need are, where to find them, and how to purchase them with the least amount of money. Thanks for liking that advice I passed on to the girls. I not only try to save them money, I'm also trying to save them the time and effort in flattening out the learning curve on buying these things.

Thanks, Jenna, for your positive comment on my article!

Thank you for the advice Scarlett. I have done quite a bit of shopping art Amazon and for the most part am happy with what I have. Trying a smaller size might help me with certain shaping items; good tip! I have debated about buying breast forms, and now hearing your testimony about using them, I feel that I am ready to get them. Bless you in all you do and thanks for being there for us!

You are more than welcome Sweetie Pie. I love helping these CDH girls to take their cross dressing skills to their all time highest levels possible.

Michelle, you wouldn't believe the amount private messages I get from the girls asking for tips on and endless amount of subjects. So I thought to save myself some time and the girls too that I would start writing these instructional articles giving these girls tips and help them flatten out their learning curves in a hurry and same them a much of time and money at the same time.

Thanks for taking the time to read my article and then taking the time to send me such a wonderful response, Michelle.

Have a super rest of the week girl friend! XOXOXO Scarlett
