As many of my CD friends know, after almost ten years living in the "sticks" my beloved and I moved back to Melbourne. This meant that she no longer does her bi-weekly trips up here to baby sit; it also means that Caty's opportunities have become severely restricted.
However, my beloved still makes a few trips back to our old stamping ground, and she left this morning. December in Melbourne is supposed to be summer and far too hot to dress to the extent I need to; to cover all the body hair, etc.
The CD Gods have been kind and today and tomorrow are max low 20's C'. Just to be sure, I ran the air con as well!
Er Indoors (Significant other) left just after we'd both had lunch and thus my transformation to "Catherine Louise" could begin. First the shower and thence a lovely scented Estee Lauder body talc. I dressed in my lingerie, bra, silk camisole, French knickers, suspender belt, and stockings. I added my breast forms and headed to the bathroom to do my makeup and hair. Perfume (Estee lauder again), of course....
It's been at least 4 months since I did my own hair and makeup, but as rusty as I may have been, I am quite happy with the result.
The finishing touches; I donned my Fella Hamilton white long sleeve blouse and grey skirt. Gold and pearl jewelry and black flat heeled shoes with a gold bar on the buckle completed the ensemble.
With no full length mirror in the house as "standard," Caty's version emerged from under her bed and her reflection did not look too bad for an old "chook" (translation, chicken).
That feeling of calmness and fulfillment we all experience when the "woman inside" is allowed to emerge is the net result. Like most of us, my posture and gait are much different and closer to the femme way of doing, thus I just love the tactile feeling of the things real females take for granted. The feel of silky, smooth lingerie and stockings, or bra straps tugging on my shoulders, and how my arms brush my breasts when I eat. Plus, the joys of the slight "bounce" of our breasts as we walk and the clicking of the flat heels on the kitchen tiles.
Dinner is taken with a glass of very good Australian Chardonnay, for as previously stated, these days Caty must celebrate the times she can be herself.
Another task accomplished today was more on-line lingerie and sleepwear shopping. These will be delivered elsewhere because they certainly cannot be delivered here, for "er Indoors" knows about Caty, and most certainly disapproves. Her absence also allows for the washing and drying of some of Caty's winter PJ's and camisoles. It looked so natural to have them out there drying on the clothes line. S....I....G....H... If only this did not have to be so hidden...
It's almost bedtime now, so the ritual of changing from day wear to the silky pj's and dressing gown will soon be the way to go. Caty is a naughty girl on these occasions; she leaves her makeup on so that when she arises on the morrow, she still looks at least halfway presentable. She may well be naughty in other ways too, but a lady does not indulge such details.

Caty, thanks for writing this. I know exactly how it is when my SO leaves for the day.... the excitement of bringing Brianna out. Although my SO doesn't know about Brianna, I'm afraid that she wouldn't approve, so all of my gurl time is in private when she's away and I'm home. I'm afraid, however, to wear any perfume out of paranoia that my SO would smell it in the house after she gets home. But I totally relate to the great feel of the bounce of breasts as I walk around the house and the way my arms brush against them as I eat or even as I type this. 😉
Anyway, thanks again for sharing your story. It always feels reassuring to read about others that are going through similar situations to mine.

Been 15 years or so since my divorce but I remember those days of "stolen moments". Never had whole day or weekend -just furtive opportunities while my ex who was not at all tolerant was at the store or visiting grandma. Now of course I don't have to hide so I'm blessed with lots of opportunities to be full Cyn mode. Thanks for sharing your story which I know resonates with many here!

Hi Caty thanks for your story, i know how you feel having to wait for your other half to go away before you can let (her) out of the closet, those pent up urges ready to explode that's been building up since the last time (she) was allowed out, my wife has no idea of my desire to become Rozalyne so I'm forever in the closet and only comes out when she is away, life always seems calmer when I'm dressed as Rozalyne it's as if all my worries have disappeared and I'm a confident and completely different person, hugs Rozalyne x
I think your wife knows what you do she is just waiting for you to amett it women have a sents of your behave your like when she gets back your behave your is a little different then before.

An article that all of us here can relate to I am sure. I just wish I was as good with makeup as you are! My wife knows about Rikki, but Rikki's days of full fledged dressing are few and far between as I have to await my opportunity while alone. Thanks for the lovely response...Re make up.... Hey.... I only post photos when I have had a professional makeover, I'm OK with doing my own, but of course a professional does it so much better and I'm lucky to have had some very good ladies look after me . So keep up the good work with your own dressing and like me, "enjoy it when you can".

Hi every body Denise here I have been dealing with feminine cloths all my life I will be 75 this year so what I have to say is that everybody will be mad at me because they don't want to hear the truth because you where born as a man all your thinking feelings are a man can't change your DNA but you can look like a women but can't become one if you understand this you will be better off going throu you life .
