I don't think I've replied to this thread yet 🙂
Just done a mental reckoning and coming up with about 19 bras in various styles - racerback front-closure, bralettes both in racerback and with shoulder-straps, and of course the usual back closure. Of these there's a real mixture of sizes, 38A & 36A (with extenders) for my male chest, 38C and 38DD. No push-ups since they don't work on me with or without forms, no strapless either as my forms aren't adhesive enough to cope. The A's are a mixture of wired and wire-free and I have matching panties for the 36's that I started out with. All the C's and DD's are wired full-cup, either lacy (again mostly with matching panties) or smooth T-shirt plunge style.
I understand why a bra and a panty is a girls best friend! You should wear both at least if your a woman.
I don't think that the clothes define anything you should be able to just dress how you feel is comfortable if I want to wear a bra and panties I don't see where that should be a problem
i am a man who likes wearing bras and panties
putting on a bra for the first time was a real revelation for me as a woman.
when i was starting to embrace my fem side, i would put on panties and it felt so good & right, sigh. BUT, when i put on a bra, it took me to another level.
i think it is because panties are nice (and feel so good) but, in the end they are just another type of underwear - not unlike some that non-fem guys wear, tbh.
but a bra is different - as a man, i had never worn anything like a bra and so, looking at myself in the mirror in a bra, for the first time i realized that these new feelings i was exploring were real, that there was a woman inside me wanting to be let shine...
Feels so lovely to know I have such a pretty bra on underneath a sweater, I'm getting quite a collection, bras not sweaters, including a reproduction 1930s longline that feels incredible !
1. Yes, I’ve worn a bra.
2. I wear one every day for some period of time. Could be the mornings, sometime all day if I’m lucky.
3. Favorite would be wide band, underwire push up bra. I’m lucky enough to respectfully fill a c cup. But like a lot of men and even some women, my breasts are wide set. I good wide banded bra with an underwire keeps the girls front and center.
my nipples get super
I have to wear a uniform in my job, I managed to get hold of a blouse and took an unpadded bra into work to get into , felt amazing, I barely take it off and now add to my collection as much as I can
Just finished my shift, uniform off, cold beer in hand and sunning myself in the garden in my new addition? A bikini with a sexy bra top. Welcome summer
I came back to this topic, as it is interesting to hear the comments and reasons given for wearing a bra. I can no longer find the article.. don't know why. ButI gave it more thought and come up with the following reasons:
A bra is uplifting, foundational, and supportive, more than most people I know. Some think it was invented in the late 1800s, by men who also favored seeing women wear high heels to accentuate their butts, and corsets to shape their torsos. Men have always been cruel to women, haven't they?
As I reflect further, I conclude that a bra must date back centuries, to Biblical times. When David slew Goliath I'm sure he had a pretty large stone. He must have been wearing an over the shoulder boulder holder.
This is so true,it makes things just so me
I love wearing bra's with my forms, l can't crossdress without wearing a bra as if l am not wearing a bra l feel something is missing
What a positively reinforcing, engaging article on the magic of bras, my favorite undergarment.
I have been a daily bra wearing enthusiast, I even sleep in a bralet or sports bra.
You describe the exquisite sensation of support from my lower back up and around my bossom. It is a uniquely transforming, refreshingly moment to moment feminine mindfulness. I am constantly sitting up, shoulders back, flat front, a feminine mindset. I am a vivacious trans woman, experiencing all iñ transitional living
I have five under wire lace push up bras, that I wear through the week. The seemingly communal support sensations I get from a properly fitted bra, never ceases.
I had begun wearing bras with matching lace panties before transitioning, You're correct, the power of coordinated bra and panties is powerful, ful of positive energy.
I have a bralett I wear at night, with a matching garter belt and crotchless re-addipanties.
i have 2 cotton tank top bras. and then my closet is rounded out with beige and taupe sports bras. As long as it fits correctly, comfortably accentuating my assets, I will wear it.
Oh I almost forgot I have two front clasp racer back bras, lavender and pale pink. They're so comfy, and reaffirming. I used to get uptight if the spaghetti strap bra support was visible beneath my feminine attire.
One thing I learned is, if I find a bra that is worthy of supporting my breasts, I usually buy at least one more. Retailers I've found, don't restock Bra styles. Once they are gone, that's it. Stock out.
I love my bras and how much they contribute to my gender affirming expression.
With the arrival of cold weather (October. 2024) I am full-time 100% 24/7 in a bra. I have 5 bras that I can wear to the store or bank, etc., that look fine without forms, but also 4 of them I can also wear forms, like I did with one of them today. I may be a trans woman, but I'm like most GG's. I like my chest to be shapely.
