So what is everyone’s favorite or preferred nylon? My favorite are pantyhose..sometimes patterned hose, sometimes shimmery hose.

Not quite sure why, but fishnets have never really appealed to me. Sheer tights (They Are Not Called Pantyhose!!!) can look fantastic, and (as we all know) feel fantastic to wear. The answer to the question of shimmery or patterned is - obviously - BOTH!!! Currently sat here in a pair of black, lacey patterned tights... just wishing that they were glossy as well... I completely agree with you - glossy lace tights! 🙂 Maybe a glossy stw pair on top? Actually, it's a good way to make fishnets more fun too... I always wear a pair of glossy tights under my fishnets on those rare occasions I'm feeling fishnet-ty, but I find a nice pair of ultra-glossy 40D black tights over black fishnets looks (and feels) pretty good. 🙂
I agree with you btw Holly - they're tights, but I feel we are in a minority here 🙄😁
@caroline2k I've never tried layering tights but it sounds like you can get some really pretty looks that way. Now that it's cold here, I need to give it a try.

Hi Lauren - yes, do try layering!
Sheer p/hose can be layered to create some really nice effects - a lighter pair of natural over a slightly darker shade can give the illusion of slimmer legs, for example, whilst combining shades and colours can create a whole host of looks that a single pair doesn't have.
Layering glossy sheer tights also increases the glossy effect, as well as feeling incredibly sensual! 🤭
Oh, and yes - they are warmer! 🙂

@caroline2k The idea of layering stockings interests me. I will have to experiment, some day.
@caroline2k Definitely tights, never got this side of the Atlantic with calling them pantyhose, seems to negate their appeal. So love their encasement and being so. as now under a nightie (does that need a translation) over some gossamer M&S knickers my London friend sent, Gorgeous,,,
Well for me it’s pantyhose as they are what started this journey. Now in saying that I do have lots of stockings and garters , some stay ups in mostly lace tops and I do enjoy some more opaque tights in the cooler weather.
@courtneynwi I had little interest in pantyhose, but I am curious about sheer tights. Not sure what they are.
However, I really like the look and idea of stockings, so I voted for them. Most of mine are stay-ups, but I need to find a good garter belt.
I favorites are pantyhose, both sheer and shimmer styles, also lace top stockings. Fishnets - not my style, the others maybe.

Depends on the outfit but this time of the year it’s 40 denier black opaque tights, a universal autumn/winter essential. I have a couple of pairs of coloured tights that I like to experiment with this time of year.
I love to layer sheers, so nude then black over the top, gives a nice sheen effect!

My favorite is panty hose but I do love to wear stockings with garters too. I love black stockings and also stockings with polka dots. On occasion, I also like to wear fishnets but those are reserved for selected occasions.
Lace too by far, but I go back and forth on stay-ups vs partnered sockings. The truth is I prefer garter belts, but they are a bit of a PITA and stay-ups are so convenient.
I am not a fan at all of pantyhose. While I have some pantyhose/tights I wear in certain situations, I much prefer stockings on myself and my wife. There are just too much in the way when an evening dates ends well.😊😚🤭
My favourite type of nylons are Eleganti full fashioned stockings and Gio full fashioned stockings they are so silky smooth on my legs🤩
I will wear toeless pantyhose in the summer with shorts, but with a dress or skirt I'll wear seamed stockings with a 6-strap garter belt. My preference is for fully fashioned stockings, which are 100% nylon (no stretch), but those can be spendy and difficult to find in my size, so I do have some colorful seamed stretch options. 🙂
My favourite one's are Lace topped thigh highs, they are very good when underdressing no tell tail bumps in your jeans,

@rozalyne But sometimes those bumps in our jeans are sexy and erotic! It is a thrill to ‘tempt fate’ and see if anyone notices or suspects!

I love stockings held up by a garter belt.
@d44 Oh the fiddle of a garter belt, a full one not one of those spindly affairs, something laced and bowed, and lovely straps...
If wearing skirts or dresses I prefer stockings held up by a 6 strap suspender belt (UK terminology). I will sometimes wear thigh highs though I have been let down once or twice when they have decided not to stay up! If I am wearing trousers I will alternatively use knee highs in the warmer months.
I have tried tights (UK terminology) but found them a bit hot and sweaty.
i prefer stockings - preferably the lace top ones attached to a garter belt, pantyhose are great too especially if they are control top - they've helped me smooth out my figure

Now that the cooler weather is here I like wearing tights to add a bit of warmth.

It’s tights for me.
Now the weather is getting cooler I’ll be wearing more slightly thicker opaque tights.
Last winter was my first time wearing opaque, and I found them really comfortable. Happy to be back in them again.
I have avoided tights because I tried them once and found them a bit hot. But your comments have piqued my interest so maybe I will give them another chance ... and perhaps even go for thicker opaque ones.

As a very occasional and inexperienced crossdresser I love a suspender belt and stockings. But as some of you girls will know, I also love an OBG with stockings. Next time I dress (if the opportunity arises) I'm thinking of some age inappropriate short skirts (pink) and dresses so will probably also get some tights, perhaps white lace or patterned.
Or is it ok to wear a short skirt/dress and show suspender straps? Have never tried hold ups and suspect they may not hold up!

When Courtney is feeling sexy I love to wear either one of my short mini skirts with garter and stockings so suspenders show when sitting legs crossed…I also have a very sexy short pink v neck dress with a split up the right thigh..that one I typically wear polka dot patterned pantyhose and some real cute Dream Pairs Fuschia colored high heeled ankle straps….Imam getting a new tablet with much better camera this week so hopefully can convince Courtney to do a photo shoot in several outfits….

Sheer to the waist, shimmery glossy tights - pantyhose! lol - are my favourites, but I also love lace tights (especially old school ones with a back seam) and other types of p/hose. Except for ones with a boxer brief... I do NOT like those lol.
I'm also quite enjoying a renewed interest in stockings with suspenders (not keen on hold-ups, as they seldom do!) but wear them over a nice pair of very sheer glossy p/hose.
