Favorite type of nylons

Courtney, lace top thigh highs are my to go for, I've never found a garter belt that I think looks good on me. Pantyhose are fine but I like the freedom that comes with thigh highs. I found a company about 2 years that sells a great pair that really do stay up, I've never had one fail, and they come in many colors and styles, not sure if I can name them here, but message me and Ill let you know.

My Go To is a garter with thigh highs..I never seem to have a problem with this combination staying where they belong. Now...Getting the snaps to stay put...that's a different story. And, for me, I just feel a bit more feminine when I'm out and about with them

Silkies from Amazon look good, feel great, and they don't run. Well, they do, but they do have a long life.

Laurie has maybe 50 pair of classic nylon stockings. Quite a few Hanes original walking sheer and ultra sheer. There are also Park lane Tall Gal xtra long and many National Hosery in colors. Of course she has several back seem ones in black white and pink. Second best is lace top stay-ups. 😍 😍 

Garters and stockings are my favorite, but I like all of it. Love opaque tights in the cold season so I can still wear skirts. I like to layer hose, too, like fence net or fishnets over some bright color hose. I have some sheer tights that I like a lot too. Shimmery colors are super fun. I have a ton of hosiery, I just love it.

Oh my, what a great question. I love a pair of lace top thigh high stockings. My only problem is that they don't always stay up reliably. If they are new or freshly washed, and your legs are freshly cleaned with no lotion on the thighs, then they can stay up for an evening. But I love the look. I love it when the lace peaks out from the skirt with either short skirts or a longer skirt when the wind blows or you sit down and maybe deliberately let them show.

I love lace in general. My panties and my bra have to have lace on them. I like to wear a lacy garter belt too if I think I may have trouble later with the thigh highs. If I wear a dress that requires a slip I will pick one that has lace on the hem and bodice. 

Recently I bought my first pair of patterned thigh highs and I like them. They are black with a floral pattern. Very pretty.

I use body glue for my thighhighs, just to ensure peace of mind. They will stay up until I am ready to take off.

Personally, I prefer garter top stocking held up by the garters on my corset.  Top favorite are Silk Reflection stockings for their feel on my legs.  Pantyhose have their place when stocking just won’t work.  I am fond of Leggs Sheer Energy control tops.  I just cringe when I see a nice ensemble ruin by bare legs.

I am a stocking & garterbelt girl.  My favorite feminine attire as well as heels.  I own no pantyhose.  Have quite a few pair, opaque ones are nice at this time of year.  Even have some personalized ones. Sometimes I go fully fashioned with seams.  Always fun getting those seams straight..

Just a short remark on the topic of the difference between "Tights" and "Pantyhose". Both are usually made of nylon, so the term "nylons" covers both, but tights and pantyhose are different pieces of 'underwear'.

From what I could find, tights only cover the legs, whereas pantyhose cover legs and waist.

I love the type of tights with the broad band of lace at the top, but mine hardly ever 'stay up' longer than 15 minutes, even when my legs are freshly shaven.

So I prefer pantyhose lately, and I love my 40 DEN mother of pearl glow pantyhose that I wear over my panties and shapewear.

It's so hard to pick just one ..

My least favorite would be fishnets, I like how they feel the least.. but they are great for pictures. 2nd least would be garter and stockings, because honestly I'm lazy... Sheer to waist pantyhose and sheer to waist shimmery hose are amazing, and high quality holdup thigh highs are my go to if I'm looking to up my leg game!!  Great poll by the way!

Garter belt and fishnets for me , do have some normal stockings with the back seam but have trouble getting a straight seam
