If I'm wearing something pretty or dressy, I like to post photos. I enjoy being nicely dressed up and want to share that joy with others. I like for other people to see the real me. Additionally, it's a lot of work, effort and money to emulate a female and it's nice to get other's feedback to insure you're going in the right direction.
@d44 yes, your pictures show your confidence & joy and a lot of feedback! General message for all ladies (except of course Fran and Angela): be less hesitant to share your opinion, even critical remarks help to improve.

What do I aim for and what do I decide to post?
I have not given the "Aim For" question much thought in years as I love my style and think it's down pretty well. Always neat and classy IMO whether a casual clothing choice or a dress or skirt/top combo. As I always go out when dressed I have everything in order and would say photo ready.
As far a "What I post"? I feel that is about how the photo looks to me and or if others are with me how we look as a group. I am not to keen myself on what would be a professional or portrait type setting but lean more "in the moment" photos.
I hate to say I am not a paying member here so you can only share I think 5... but I feel mine are a decent representation. Now I have to go look... I do have a flickr page as Sandyacd with about 300 pics if you want to take a look.

@sandymae thanks, I'll check your flickr page, but your photos here are already inspiring. I've also reached the limit of five, so I'll plan do to some recycling, which is not a bad idea anyway.
My aim would be to pass completely, but that is an impossible goal. My aim is to truly be happy with the woman I see staring back at me in the mirror. Because most of the time I just see my male self staring back.
When I'm out in public, I'll catch a few people doing a double take. It's probably because I'm 6'2" flat footed, and I'm always wearing heels. So I'm sure their first impression is about the tall woman. Then, realizing it's a man in drag. But I've never had a bad experience in public, yet!
So my aim is to be happy as with my femme appearance!
@jessij your pictures show a girl having lots of fun and by doing that help to convey a feminine look. Have not had the courage yet to venture outside, partly because of my height (similar to yours). Experiences like yours encourage. ♥️
@astridt once a month or so I go to the local mall, Dillard's to be specific. The sales ladies are so nice. Some have pointed out where the dressing rooms are and are super helpful. I try on several dresses and outfits every time I go. Last time I went I actually took a walk around the whole mall. I quit worrying about what others might think and I act just like I would any other time I would be there. I'm at a place and age where I don't really care who finds out. If I were to lose friends over it, then they weren't good friends to begin with.
Hi Astrid as for me I love to have wife take the pictures of me she does a pretty god job .. but too picky to put them all here some just don't capture me as I see me a pretty lady so back to drawing board .. Really need to sit down and do some more as love to dress and wife is a big ego boost with wonderful girly comments so hope to add new ones soon hugs girlfriend..

My style and presentation are always evolving. When I finally started going out in public a little over a year ago I really wanted to blend into the background. I told my wife that I wanted to be the one that no one remembered. Her style is bright and bold everywhere she goes. Her confidence is amazing but something I don't think I'll ever get close too. However, as going out with her has become more common I'm becoming more expressive. I started posting pics on CDH from late 2024 and onward as it was then that my own confidence and presentation reached a point where I felt comfortable showing myself to the world. I still like to look back at pics from earlier days to remind me of my progress. On the funny side, I was showing my daughters some of my earliest pics from about 6 yrs ago and both said emphatically, "Please don't ever dress like that again." I wasn't indecent but certainly hideous.🤣
@mkat3874 in some weird way that's one of the loveliest compliments I've ever heard! You must be proud of your daughters and can be proud of yourself ♥️
I'm absolutely proud of them and so grateful for their support. Just last month I had the opportunity to go out with them for they day. My oldest helps me with my makeup and my youngest is always coming over to borrow clothes.
