I have been living alone now for a year and do all my own cooking.  I’ve never made quiche before. Today I’m making a spinach and mushroom quiche for dinner.  It also will have diced ham an Asiago cheese.  I just wonder if you like quiche?

I do like to make a quiche when there are bits and pieces left in the fridge as there are no limits as to what can be put in them.. It's also a good thing to take if going to friends parties. It always gets eaten. But then there are those who have a dislike and one said it was like a cold omelette in pastry!

It's complicated. Quiche is a custard and my mother tuned me off to her custards, but quiche isn't too bad. I don't go out of my way to avoid it, but it isn't in my regular diet.

Frittata is easier - just eggs cream or sour cream and pre cooked veges you love with a bit of cheese on top at 180 C . For 30 minutes

Yes I do. For the most part, I will enjoy whatever someone puts in front of me.

I make Quiche Lorraine regularly. My wife loves it, as did my mother in law before we sadly lost her a few weeks ago. And there's always a bit left over for lunch the next day.

Never eaten it en femme though 😢. In fact I've never eaten anything en femme. That may change in June though ...

Yes, I love it. But I usually buy a pre-made quiche and heat it up in the oven.

I love Quiche, since I raise chickens I wind up sometimes with way to many eggs and will make a handful and freeze them, then it's real easy to make for a meal.

I really like it’s breakfast cousin, the frittata. I just heard that Charles III has chosen quiche Lorraine as his coronation signature dish.

To which I can only reply…

Hi Kerri,

I'm in the 'never had it' bucket but i'm open to the idea. It just doesn't pop up often.

Thanks for asking.

Yes, I love it. I would add a little mild spiced sausage rather than ham, adds a lot more flavor. Mmmmmm.

That sounds good! Probably less salty as well, I would guess.

Made one yesterday, spinach, eggs, cheese, with some sour cream. There was enough for breakfast this morning. The last one I made had ham also.
