Hi girls 🙂
Like most girls here, I love to wear skirts especially miniskirts!! I noticed however that all but 1 of my miniskirts have built in shorts technically making them skorts! I actually love the built in shorts because I feel more comfortable knowing my panties are covered up so if I’m dancing in my skort (dance is my main girly hobby) and the skirt part comes up, my panties are not visible! Plus if I’m wearing my skort on a girly walk or run and it’s windy outside, the built in shorts underneath stay in place even if the skirt part blows up!!
So which do you prefer girls, skirts without built in shorts or skorts? Please vote in the poll I created so I may see what is more popular! Thanks 🙏 in advance ladies!!

@girlyboy9020 I myself prefer skirts, l don't like skorts as l don't feel they are as feminine as skirts
I love the femininity of skirts! I’m not brave enough to venture out so that may play into it too as I see the practicality of skorts. I imagine i’m not alone in really liking flowy skirts (midi and maxi work best for me) from how the material feels against my legs to how they accentuate movement.
Its skirts all the way for me. They express the ultimate in femininity! 🥰
As a general rule, I prefer skirts over skorts. Although I own both.
But the context is important. As much as I love short miniskirts, I wouldn’t wear one when I go out in public. A skort would be much more appropriate for that kind of a situation.
Although I have to say, whenever I go out in public on a really hot day, I generally don’t wear a skirt or a skort. I wear a pair of shorts.
@theunrealangelawagner Thank you for your input, Angela! I’m glad that I own 3 very cute pairs of shorts for those really hot days 🙂!! A bonus of wearing shorts is most have pockets for my keys, wallet, and phone whereas most skirts, skorts, and dresses 👗 don’t have pockets! My sundress that I just posted in my public photos does have pockets though!

@girlyboy9020 - both are really fun. I love skorts for outdoor wear though, as 'sk' of the skort can be acceptably micro.
@girlyboy9020 For me it depends on whether I will be active or not. If I'm hiking or dancing like you, I'll go for a skort to make sure my panties stay covered up. IN other cases, I'm more than happy to wear a skirt. I'm looking forward to the warm weather si I break out my denim mini skirts.
@girlyboy9020 must say I still learn new things every time I come on never herd tell you could buy a skirt with shorts interesting 🤔 I voted skirts but myself don’t go out so I don’t have to worry if anything shows I don’t think the cats or dogs will mind lol 😂
I remember when skorts were called coulots (French). Bootie shorts were called hot pants and before that short shorts! I also remember dail phones too! 😆 🤣

@gafran I do remember the short shorts and the little song the girls use to sing Who wears short shorts I wear short shorts lol 😂 also remember the dial phone missed one number have to start over also the dialup internet 🛜 when you wanted to make your brother mad at you you just keep picking the phone up till they got kicked off lol 😂

@girlyboy9020 Ashlyn, I cannot abide skorts. It skirts all the way for me. Any skirts that I have purchased (that were actually skorts, usually gym skirts), get recommissioned rather rapidly with a pair of scissors, to the much more comfortable and I think, feminine skirts that they were meant to be. Free the skirts of their restrictive undershorts! That’s my motto.

@girlyboy9020 I'm so sorry, Ashlyn...call me whatever you like, but I will only wear skirts for exactly the OPPOSITE reason as you...and I must say, I'm not deliberately showing off, nor are any of my skirts, for dresses, for that matter, considered "mini"...they're at least at/below the knees...but part of the thrill and excitement for me of going out, it to let Mother Nature play it's course...if that gentle breeze comes up...LET IT BLOW...I'm prepared to protect my modesty, yet not ashamed of showing off the mystery of what's color/style is Tiny wearing today...??? To be honest, I've yet to have this actually happen, but if and when it does...you ALL will be the first to know...hahaha...!!! I've always felt, one of the reason why I enjoy dressing up and being my "feminine best" when I've ventured out in public, is being drawn to the exhibitionist part of it...at least for me, it has kept it so exciting, and gives me so much pleasure throughout these wonderful years...!!!

@girlyboy9020 I like both, obviously I prefer skort during sports activities it is much more practical as clothing for doing this (tennis, zumba, jogging, aerobic fitness, golf)

@girlyboy9020 Definitely skirts for me, then again I've never worn skorts so I can't really compare! Wouldn't mind trying a pair though. I think being able to control your modesty with elegance is part of the art of femininity. And if you can't, then there's always the thrill being a bit risque!

I have both skirts and skorts. I prefer skirts as there are more styles available. I do wear my skorts though on occasion. As I only dress at home and don't go out my choice sometimes depends on what top I'm going to wear as to what it will go with. If I were to go out of the house dressed I would probably be more inclined to wear a skort. It would be my go to for playing golf or pickleball.

I have plenty of both. I’m pretty active so the skorts are a plus in many cases. When traveling, I may do something unexpected. With a skort I don’t have to worry as much if I ride a bike or a scooter or go for a buggy ride.

Skirts for me!
When I buy male swim trunks, the first thing I do is remove the mesh liner if they have one. If I find a skirt I really like and discover it is a skort, I will do the same thing if I can, remove the shorts.

...as for me, gimme a SKIRT...though, this past summer, I did purchase and my first pair of denim SHORTS. As far as the SKORT is concerned, the jury is still out.

My preference would be for skirts. Skorts are fun and I do own 5 of them. They are a more casual version of a skirt and perfect for spring/summer/fall when you just want something to give the effect of a skirt without being too dressy.
I voted for skirts. My sport and exercise is all done in male mode. My main feminine hobby is doing photoshoots which mean that the odd flash of stocking top will happen and a skirt or dress will make this easier.

Both. I have well over a hundred skirts, bit also about a dozen skorts. Some are sportswear, others are normal wear. I'm a lot more comfortable sitting in a coffee shop in a short skort than I am a very short skirt..

Skorts are an abomination and should be banned, either a skirt or shorts not skorts
While I haven't been in this situation (yet), I can understand how skorts would be better when doing something very active and physical. Skirts are definitely more feminine and require feminine-minded movement/behavior when wearing them.
@sophie85 Thank you for your input, Sophia 🥰! You are definitely correct that skirts are more feminine and not very practical to dance in whereas skorts provide a girl with more confidence knowing if her skirt lifts up, her panties won’t be visible!

Definitely skirts, as you put it the wind blowing under and lifting it, in my opinion that is one reason to wear them, so nice to feel the wind blowing between your tights.
I went and counted, seems I have the same amount of both. There were about 16 of each. Have a couple of very short skirts that are for mischief. I maybe getting older, but I ain't dead !! 
Another vote for skirts from me. Skorts... I can see their point, but I don't have a need for them. When I do exercises in girl mode it's indoors anyway. Sometimes I will wear a leotard and tights, or leggings.
As it's Sunday and on a somewhat un-woke, confessional note... I grew up in the seventies and eighties and the younger me used to enjoy (and yes, envy) those frilly panties on display during the Wimbledon tennis competition. I know - sorry!😳
I'm off to read some feminist literature.
For me it has to be skirts. I love wearing stockings or tights and anything like shorts or trousers spoils both the look and the feel and I don't consider either as being particularly feminine. Risking a quick flash of the knickers is part of the fun of dressing up although I don't venture outside - just yet.
