Well another James Bond retires, and the hunt is on for a replacement.
There has been calls for a female to be given the role, but I hear the producers have ruled that out.
So who has been your favourite James Bond?
Without a doubt Sean Connery 1st choice
Roger Moore 2nd choice.
Newer bonds just not bond.
Did you vote Donna?
Not sure David Niven counted as it was a outside of the franchise and considered a spoof.
sure did Amanda voted to Connery
according to this bond in 1954 was Barry Nelson in casino Royala
Barry Nelson as James Bond in Casino Royale 1954 (007museum.com)
I voted Sean Connery it's one of my sexually fantasy to be Miss Moneypenny when I shake his martini he can stir my martini
Sums it up pretty well for me, too.
"....BOND, JAMES BOND..."
Connery.
Went to the 1st Bond Movie in Junior High School...Aston Martin; the keyboard player in my Band drove the same automobile.
Had an Austin Powers costume party at my home to demonstrate that THIS WAS NOT ORIGINAL MATERIAL...IT WAS ALL A SPHUFF ON JAMES BOND, GOLDFINGER , ODD JOB AND THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS !!
Dr.T.J.
Amanda....
Didn't Russ Abbott play " Basildon Bond" in " The Man with the Golden Labrador "??
Seriously...i have liked them all really, except George lazenby....horrendous choice!!
All those early Bonds, ten minute punch ups, and hardly a mark on their pretty faces, not a hair out of place...god forbid they got a black eye!!!
Daniel Craig by a country mile...so much more ruthless, after all, he is an assassin...and just for the realism he portrays.....
This guy actually LOOKS like he has been in a fight....
Grace xx
I have never seen a single James Bond, I dont watch movies or TV,lol, so I cant really say, but I wanted to vote, lol. No Opinion.
Hugs,Regi👸💖
I voted Sean Connery as he was the bond I really grew up with. The whole movie was action and some great villains. I loved the glamour and if I could be a character it was of course Miss Moneypenny as she was of my time and I liked the way she dressed . She was played by Lois Maxwell.
I do think that Daniel Craig has been a great Bond too and he would be a second choice. Roger Moore was very witty but too suave for the role for me so would be my third choice.
Do any girls remember "Brook Bond"? This was a tea advert of the same name. Chimps dressed as Bond etc. Rather un pc today but it was harmless enough. And chimps like tea.
(Who said that !!?? ... I'm coffee anyway....)

For me it will always be Sean Connery. He had the charm and sophistication to really pull off James Bond. So far there has not been a Bond that comes even close. My second choice would be Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan . They both have their strengths playing Bond. My only problem with the Roger Moore movies was the last several he played. They became too campy and satirical for me.
Daniel Craig for me just is not James Bond. I have never liked those Bond movies. They became much too dark for me. It has always been the main reason I have always liked James Bond. It was always fun and a nice distraction from what was going on in the world.
Hi Amanada,
Another Sean vote, just because he was the Bond I grew up alongside. Roger Moore - I never quite got, but he did somehow make Bond his own brand. After that, a new Bond film just didn't grab me as much anymore.
