At the bottom of every member's profile there's an Activity section which includes a 'Received thanks' total.
Will clicking on ANY of these new emojis contribute to this, or will thanks only register when someone clicks on the existing 'thumbs up' emoji?
I hope that the existing thanks total won't get reset or lost - I currently have 10.1K thanks sitting in the bank 🙂

@ellyd22 This should keep the reactions from before the change, good callout hon!
@cdh Vanessa, at the moment I find it tricky trying to quickly enough select the normal thumbs-up as a like. The system selects the praying hands a some sort of timed default choice.
Can you change this so that when it times out that it chooses the thumbs-up emote as the default, please?
@harriette mine always selects the red heart. I can rarely get it to show the one I chose.
@cdh Just a heads-up about the new emotes.
The one showing a female with both hands up (huh?) is actually a dislike of the post.

sorry for stepping away from the topic I’m guessing using a computer is different I use my phone and can use any of them on my phone 🧔♀️
@erinb Erin, it's not the general use of emojis, as we can use the ones behind the smiley face below, in our messages. It's the use of extra emojis alongside the 'Thanks' thumbs-up sign at the bottom of other people's posts. At the moment, there is only one reaction you can make without actually posting a reply and this is a poll as to what extra reaction emojis we might like.

all of my devices have built in emojis, but I'm expanding my use of them all the time...
of course, a lot of people ask me questions I have no idea how to answer, and I use :woman shrugging: a lot...
Am I right in believing these emojis are to be used as reactions to posts by other girls? I thought the thumbs up or "thanks" was not enough. ☺️

I'm loving the new emojis. But am I correct that they're not quite working as they should? I often find I can't select the one I want, and it defaults to a red heart xx.
@chrisfp99 I've not had any trouble but browsers work differently, I suppose.
