So this weekend I had the chance to dress for three days straight. Interrupted as it was, it was something I had never done before.
It started with a professional makeup tutorial and photoshoot. She wanted a pic of me for her website and I suggested a few more for me. So I started getting ready the day before, doing my own mani/pedi with that trendy robin egg blue. I left it on as I went about my day before driving the two hours. Dressed in drab, totally not en femme, I went about my business. Had the perfect line if asked "I lost a bet with my wife". Had a few sideway looks but no one said anything.
The tutorial and photos were fun, met two wonderful ladies who totally accepted me as Gina, which was nice. Only problem, it literally was 110 F!! Now I know how hot a wig can be.
I drove home dressed and decided to surprise one friend who knows about Gina. She enjoyed seeing me, her 8 year old son - not sure what he thought (lol)
So I went home and had to leave Gina behind because I wad flying the next day and couldn't remain en femme.
But any sadness was tempered by knowing I would be dressed again soon. So I hoped a plane to visit a good CD friend of mine in SoCal. She has no SO, so we could just talk, dress, try each others wigs etc. great fun. Stayed up late and went to sleep as Gina and for the first time wake up as Gina.
It was so much fun and relaxing but then I had to again return to my 'normal' gender role and fly home. But I left on the nail polish until the next day.
All I know is that I look forward to having another long weekend to dress.
<p style="text-align: left;">Good for you Gina, sounds like you had a great time! I had two days in a row as Sofia last week and loved it. I'm working on a trip later this month or next to get three or four days en femme.</p>
