Good morning girls.
It's Sunday here and it's a typical one. Even though I am working later, I love the early hours of this particular day.
panties and bra, thick white furry robe and furry white bootie slippers...no make up...just the fresh " out of the shower " look....not a boy, not a girl this morning....just relaxing " in between "
Sat on my doorstep, drinking strong coffee....the sky has red streaks through grey clouds as the sun rises. There's that " cold nip " in the air....autumn's here, i love this time of year. a dog walker passes my gate, there's the briefest of nods....
I step inside, and drop two rashers of bacon into my frying pan....it sizzles the way only bacon can. Topping up my coffee, I sit on the step again....it's so quiet ...
I love to think of these moments as " grace time "...I love reflection, what I have done, where I am going....thinking things through before hand and planning. I often have a pad and pen to hand, just making notes......Two days off from tomorrow....maybe grace will go and do a bit of shopping....my favourite supermarket needs some of its bargains releasing....into safe hands, of course.
Yes, maybe tomorrow evening I will venture out, that gives me the day to " preen and pamper ". My bottle of queen of tarts nail polish is screaming to be used, I have left my toenails blank canvases for almost two weeks now, but their vacation is nearly over....they need their little red coats on!!!!
...if the weather stays like this, it will be ankle boots and leggings tomorrow....I do so love those kitten heels.... it's that " clip clop " sound !!!!!
Yikes...turn the bacon Gracie.....daydreaming again!!!!

Ps.....no "Saturday smile" this week...there has been raised objections to too much humour, and until I know where I stand, or just what the rules are going to be, or if they are going to change.....I think it's probably safer and best to keep on topic......
Mine will be a 'Lazy Sunday' afternoon, got no time for worries.....
No sunrise on the doorstep for me Grace, I was in the land of nod. I'm sitting in my nightie, snug slippers for warm feet and a nice cuppa in hand. Autumn is arriving and the leaves are changing hues, the temperature is going to be warmer than the norm so I will refrain from the leggings for as long as possible.
Soon I will have a shower , put on my face and wear something suitable for a Sunday. Today is my own and do as little or as much as I want.
The things to do list can wait....

Ah, Sunday morning. Relaxing here reading your post in black satin nightshirt and wedge heel sandals admiring my freshly painted with pink glitter toes. Asked my wife if she would be ok if I started wearing a nightgown to bed at times and she said we could give it a try. I purchased a black satin night shirt that isn't too girly but feels so heavenly and wore it for the first time last night. It was a good choice and my wife was ok with it. Big step for me! I would not have had the nerve to talk to her about it before hanging out here at CDH. She would not be ok with the nails so that will be my little secret. The heels are a just not in front of her thing so I can indulge as I make an early breakfast and sit and read.
Please don't hide your wonderful sense of humor Grace. It's enhances and doesn't detract from the topic. Seeing the humor in our everyday lives helps us smile and nothing is more supportive than a simple smile.

It's Sunday Morning and I am sipping my coffee and sitting at my computer in my bath robe. It is also my time to relax, reflect and read before my busy day starts. I love mornings, watching the sun come up and a good cup of coffee.

Hi, and good morning my dear Grace, yes I am up and sat in the conservatory, satin nightwear, fluffy dressing gown and slippers on after a beautiful shower. Light breakfast PN on toast and fresh ground Italian coffee teases my senses. Beautiful fresh morning with the early sun starting to wake up. Been out to feed the birds (God that made the curtains twitch with neighbours ha ha) so peaceful here with the background chatter of the birds (And no bloody lawn mowers either). Out for walk with the grandchildren this afternoon we are on a duck hunt, don't be alarmed we are throwing bread at them. Now Miss Grace humour and support, oh dear I was very sad to read that a minority of people just do not get how important this ingredient is in life. If you can laugh at yourself, your half way cured.
But seriously I think the ability of open conversation about anything is an antidote to combat depression and isolation. OK sweetie have a beautiful day and never lose that humour it's a tonic.

I sit here inn my nightgown, a Kimono over top, and my pretty pink fluffy slippers, enjoying my morning coffee and catching up on my sisters exploits.
your humor, (and many other girls), is one of the best things about CDH, IMO, and I will surely miss it if you leave it on a shelf. The laughter and joy we all bring to the table is so therapeutic, in my mind, and there MUST be room for all. after all, this is Life As It goes on, not help me Im drowning, although there is also room for that.
Im sorry, but this topic burns me, it reminds me too much of what is going on in the world, today, and not all change is good, especially if we must all change for the minority, regardless.

Gracie sounds so nice and relaxing. I got up in my wonderful sleeping cami slipped on panties and hose bra and short robe, Put a coat and sweats over all and took the dog on a stroll. Now lightly dressed relaxing with some stephanie time having coffee and waiting to see what the day will bring.
Since I am new here I Didnt realize but should of I guess that there exist a fair amount of uptightness on CDH. keep the humor coming once cannot have enough of that

Sitting here on the computer well not sitting on it but he he .. Wife up a little early had breakfast done with coffee a must bacon fried eggs fried and silver dollar pankakes to round off the meal now sitting in a red bra panties and one of my go to dresses of coarse in red with some red lippy Grace he he ..
