Went thrifting with my wife yesterday. We were going for something specific but when there are clothes, shoes and such available what is a girl to do. The first Goodwill we went to was kind of funny. I was dressed in drab. We go in the door and right there is a rack of clothes with a shelf of shoes on top. I notice a pair of thigh high boots, pick them up, look at the sole and see 12W. Without even thinking I slip off the sandal on one foot and put the boot on. As I said it was right by the front door so there are people walking in and out. Low and behold it fits and my wife says go ahead and get them. In the cart they go. She found a dress for herself and said it is a share dress which was nice of her to say. We then went to another Goodwill. We found what we were looking for and left it at the counter (it was a large item to big to fit in a cart of carry around). We then went to look at dresses and checked out shoes along the way. We looked at and got 6 dresses. A couple of them are for her and the others are share dresses. She also got a belt as she has been needing one and I got a silver chain belt to go with a couple of my dresses. When we got home I tried everything on, some fit very well and others were either a bit too tight or didn't fit. It was a fun girl's day out.

Actually washed them and put on a fashion show for her when we got home.

Sounds like so much fun. I think my wife would be up for it but I’m still a ways away weight and size wise from live shopping.

Understand about the weight and size issue as I'm right there with you. That is the beauty of going to thrift shops. We spent a total of about $45 dollars for 6 dresses, a pair of boots and 2 belts, so in my opinion, a pretty inexpensive shopping trip.

Next time do the same thing, shopping with your wife BUT Go en femme with wig and makeup ( but casual, dress down like the people in the stores you’re shopping at 👍)
