So... I went to a local thrift store today and found an old women's wristwatch I thought my wife might like and that got me thinking... what do all of you do for accessories? There's no chance of the wristband of today's watch purchase fitting MY wrist... The same would go for jewelry... My neck is far too thick for a lot of the necklaces I saw today...
If there is a pendant on a chain, you can get a longer chain and move the pendant to it. There are necklace extenders you can buy to make the chain longer. There are also longer necklaces such as beads or faux pearls. Some are long enough to loop over your head twice.
I've tried the elastic rings and find that it still cuts off the circulation or starts to pinch the finger after a while. But Torrid sells rings of larger sizes. Or I'll put a ring on my pinky which is smaller and tends to fit some of the smaller rings.
I tend to like the elastic bracelets because they stretch over my larger hands to get them on or off, yet are not too tight around my wrist. Wider bracelets will hide your larger arms better than delicate chains.
They do make converters to convert earrings for pierced ears to clip-ons. They do tend to hurt (more like a persistant dull ache) after a while so don't plan to wear them all day.
Hi Ron, I certainly agree finding female jewellery to fit my male physique can be troublesome. All my jewellery is custom stuff so there is no value in any of it. No big deal if I order on line and it is the wrong size
I do know now to buy necklaces that are at least 60cm long for example. Add in a pendant if I want. I have been lucky with ring sizes are much the same. Of course my fingers are bigger then most ladies. How I measured my ring size was to wrap a piece of string/cotton or similar around my finger and then measure the string against a ruler. Gives me the circumference. A lot of on line stores have the circumference sizes of rings on their websites.
Hope this little bit of info helps.
Cheers Gwen. (Aus)
I've used the earing adapters and if your careful you can bend them out, so they don't hurt, and they still stay on.

As others have said there are converters to change pierced earrings to clip ons. You can use an extender to make necklaces longer and the same can be done for bracelets. Rings can be a bit harder but I'm sure if you look around you could find some bigger sizes online.
I make some of my own jewelry using supplies I get from Michael's or Hobby Lobby. It is fun to make your own. It also makes them unique. I've bought pendants and chains to make necklaces, as well as beads and stretch string to make necklaces and bracelets. For my birthday a couple years ago I got my ears pierced so have a collection of earrings I wear (I have more earrings than my wife - we do share them though).
Thrift shops are a great place to find not only jewerly but clothes, shoes, handbags and other accessories, have fun with it.

I have been pretty lucky accessorizing. I have a seven inch wrist and have been able to find some watches and bracelets that fit. New watches generally have extra links that need to be taken out to fit. Some bracelets have an extra small chain for larger wrists. There are also extenders that you can buy. My ring size is an 11. I have found quite a few on Amazon that fit well.
This is very frustrating as I have this almost obsession with my wrists and fingers and have such manly hands, I often by bracelets that break , in fact rather embarrassing when trying on some clothes in a shop called Yours in the changing room I snapped my lovely wooden bracelet and all the small sections went everywhere. I was so nervous as the ladies in the shop were really nice and so lovely about me trying on a bra and a blouse. We had a giggle and I ended up buying this stretchy ring from the shop that looks great on me . I guess it’s about perseverance and being creative , I do find necklaces much easier and like to wear them with a nice pendent.
anyway I continue to desire nice limp wrists with a charm bracelet and will try and make the best of what I have.

I love accessories when I'm Wendy. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings are a must.
I prefer choker style necklaces or pearl necklaces. I bought a few chokers that were way too small, but temu to the rescue and I bought some necklace extenders for cheap.
No pierced ears so it is all clip ons for me.
I try to stay away from the elasticy type braclets as it cinches quite snug and leaves indentations on my writes.
There are expandable rings, but the styles aren't that great.
