All dressed up nowhere to go

The weather is pretty awful today in the U.K., could be an excuse for a shopping trip, seems a shame not to be able to enjoy the opportunity to dress.  I hope you have a good time.

Hi Rosie I would love to have a dressing up friend as its lonely and can only do it when my wife's out....I wear tights and knickers under my suit at work...the desire to go further is very strong....do you go out? X

I agree with Jessica.  It’s a perfect day to go shopping.  Here in the US it’s a holiday weekend so retail sales abound. If 5he budget doesn’t support buying that just got to have it item, then next best thing is to go window shopping.

Good for you Gemma. It's great you have a look you really like. It is exciting and such a great thrill and rush to go out dressed or dressed with others. The weather will get better evntually. It always does.

Hi Gemma,

Sounds like we have suffered the same anguish for the last 30 years, but I have recently started venturing out of the front door. The first time I just went for a drive and got out for a short walk in a quiet road in heels. Felt exhilarating! In better weather I have walked for an hour in large park and laid on grass reading a book and enjoying a spot of lunch. Even more exhilarating. All depends if you can get to the car and return without being spotted by neighbours. I’m lucky that my drive is quite well concealed.

Last Friday I took the boldest step yet and went to a big trans night in Milton Keynes. See recent photos I posted. You are not too far from Brighton; maybe one day you could do something like that. My wife was away on a hen weekend so the opportunity was too good to miss!

If you don't mind getting a bit wet a trip out to do some shopping (preferably under cover) would be ideal, museum or art gallery are other places that you could go to.

On a rainy day I usually stay in - depending on how much time I've got - try on my recent purchases, do a photoshoot, do some day-to-day things around the house and watch a favourite film on the TV.   Another thing I do is make a short-list of my next few outing destinations and do some planning for them (outfit, journey times, routes ..etc)

Hi Katie you are so similar to me in a lot of ways ,the length of time to get out which is me but recently I am getting a massive urge to go out...my wife still does not know I crossdress which I am surprised by so when she works and I am off gemma comes out. I took a walk in the dark last week ,nervous but so excited!!, I'm sure a guy smiled at me...got new clothes as mine are a bit tatty so dressed respectfully,maxi skirt,low heels ,and mild make up. Now I want to do it during the day...wife on 12 hours saturday but after dressing the heavy wind and rain stopped me,so still hoping.
