I’m the same, I like putting my big toe in the water before jumping in. I took a ride to the gas station the other day while I was underdress I did stuff my bra a little and I did get noticed by an older lady. It felt great I will be doing again soon. Enjoy and have fun

Hi Effie, I 100% support the one step at a time slow approach to going on this journey.  For me though, I had a different experience for my first-time out in public en femme.  Before retirement, I was CEO of a pretty large organization (over 1000 staff).  A group of staff organized a fund-raiser where staff would bid on which executive manager they would like to see cross-dressed at a luncheon. And yes, I won (or lost depending on the perspective).  The point was to raise money (over $1300) and also to really embarrass the boss.  My Exec. Assistant arranged for me to have my makeup done and the outfit I would wear.  Of course, I had to go and buy a bunch of accessories to go with the dress.  Biggest comments I got that day from the staff were "You are enjoying this too much" and "You look too good as a woman".  While I was super nervous before going into the luncheon attended by about a hundred staff, I really got into it and enjoyed the rest of the day en femme.  So after that was over and I made my debut, I took the slow approach.  Started with underdressing, then driving at night fully en femme, then evening walks, cool weather walks, and for the past two summers I went on week-long vacations where I was en femme pretty much the whole time. You will get there my Friend.  And most importantly have fun.  Big Hugs, Krista.

Effie that sounds like a wonderful plan!  Kinda makes me wish I could pull up beside you at that red light and see the big grin you'll have on your face as I give you two thumbs up girl!!  Sounds like you have some fun ahead 😁.

Wow Krista, that’s great!! Thanks for sharing, I really do get encouragement from hearing about others stories..I’m excited to take the first plunge and honestly a bit nervous... I’ll be in a company vehicle but the cell phone company I work for is very pro lgbt and actually has won awards for being diverse in every area!

Awesome Idea never know might bump into each other one day The one day when I broke out of shell and made my appearance in public was went out the front door stood on porch then decided to take a drive. As was driving around dressed. Saying really need something from store. So long story short could go home dress down or just go in dressed up. Was kinda late so figure not many be out. So got in the parking lot of a super walmart. sitting in car for little then got out went in got what needed paid and left. Didn't get no static from anyone. Did get few comments on the shoes wearing and my hair do had on.

After all the time thinking be the end of world. Decided to start doing more public appearance now during daytime. and going to more crowded places.
