The first pair of knickers I wore made me into who I am today and I have always loved having a knicker collection to choose from. I never like throwing any away, and have collected them from ex partners who have given them to me over the years as well as buying my own. Anyway, I bought a new set if 3 and my wife gave me a couple she didnt like wearing so I thought I should cull those I dont and wont wear again for various reasons. I did this and thought "my you seem to have a lot" so folded them nicely and then counted tgem. The total? 72 pairs!
Does anyone else have a large amount of an item of clothing? I live skirts but havent go the storage and so am kept at 20 or so, the same with dresses, shoes etc...but the knickers seem to have gone under the radar!

panties and pantyhose are accumulating in my drawer.
At one time my panty collection reached close to 100 pair. When I find a new panty that I really like I can’t just buy one. I don’t consider it an obsession or an addiction, it’s just a part of everyday life. I just simply love panties and how comfortable they are and how they make me feel! And that is feminine
Last count I think I had 48 pairs of panties. I'm at the point now if I buy new ones I purge some old ones. Running out of storage room. 🙂
For me it's tights - I mean pantyhose (sorry America! 😉). I am a bit of a hoarder anyway, but I have currently about forty pairs in a drawer (including opaques) plus at least another 60 unopened pairs in a box in the wardrobe! I see it as practicality rather than obsession - I don't want to find myself in a situation where I don't have a decent pair to wear 🙂
But your post Susan made me consider how many pairs of panties I have... and that was a surprise to myself. About fifty! Most have a matching bra, and there are duplicates of those styles that I particularly like. But how did that happen! Two and a half years ago, I only had about 3 pairs before I came out to my partner. It must be her fault (not that I'm complaining)!

I have 40 or so Pair of Panties. I have many dresses and camis. I don't throw away anything either. so my collection continues to grow. Got more stuff coming today!

Am I obsessed? I'm probably obsessed with my lipstick collection, it's nearing 50 tubes and counting...

It can easily happen, but I make a concerted effort to keep it under control. I love to shop for bras and panties, and these days dresses as well. While I may look at dresses and lingerie, I avoid buying unless I see something very nice. I do not "need" anymore and I don't want my wife to think I am wasting money on things I rarely wear.
No not obsessed just showing womanly traits. Speaking with G.G. friends it is not unusual behaviour it's not a case of need but want. One friend said her husband asks why she keeps buying clothes you don't seem to wear and her reply is why do you keep buying fishing things......Touche
Well Susan , your post made me laugh as I just did a tidy up on my femme things yesterday. I started with my panties and bras/ bralettes, then camisoles , full and half slips and made it to the pantyhose drawer next. This morning I started on my what I call my dress skirts as I have a separate list for my denim skirts. Anyways I’m rambling on but the answer to the question I found that I’m now at a crazy 115 pairs of panties.
As I wear them everyday, I have an entire drawer full of panties and two more for pettipants. That said if I don't do a lingerie wash even for a month I don't begin to run out. My weakness is bras, both for myself and my wife. She's changed sizes a couple of times since we met as I have and it's always a great excuse to find new bras for each of us. I gave away most of my smaller size bras to a CD just starting out and to a dear dear friend who's my same size. That said I probably have nearly 100 bras and yes, storage is a problem. I and my wife have adopted a 'one in-one out' policy but you know there's always those times you see something absolutely gorgeous ... and it's on SALE!
You are out of control. I suggest a 12 step program like Knickers Anonymous.
Counted 48 that are put away. Probably close to 75 -80 total. Some are duplicates.
