How many gals here love anklets? I do, have for a long time, even before I started crossdressing.
I began wearing “cheap” cosmetic anklets years ago. But after time they would make a stain on my skin from the metal.
A few years ago, I got a “big girl” real 24ct gold anklet that I have worn ever since (even when drab).
I love my anklet, it looks cute, maybe even sexy with the right shoes and a pedicure. It sparkles in a subtle way that makes it noticeable. Wifey even likes it, too.
How many other gals wear anklets? I am curious to know.

@sf I agree Staci, anklets are so feminine and thrilling to wear. I have several anklets, including summer leather threaded sea shells, gold chain and ethnic chains (from India and Kazakhstan). I love wearing if not wearing stockings (I have ruined too many pairs of stockings and tights wearing anklets, so now I only wear them separately).

@christineth Christine, I wear my anklet bare legged (I don’t wear stockings), but when drab I wear the anklet inside my socks or slip it outside depending on my mood / appearance....
For the gals who wear stockings, an anklet should be on the outside, just my 2 cents. Have fun.... Staci
@sf I love wearing an anklet. There is something amazingly sexy about them for me especially when I'm wearing heels and have my toe nails polished. For me it's a real feminine differentiator and I love it!
I gave a anklet to a girlfriend once as a gift.
I've never had or worn one. My biggest worry would be it coming unlatched and then loosing it.

I wear them when dressed I shorts, skirts, skirts and shorter dresses.
Staci, I love my anklets, I wear them 24/7. I have 3 that are my favorite but broke 2 of them and had them repaired but they broke again, usually taking my socks off and getting them caught in them snapping the clasp. The one I have left is one that I've had the longest and now only wear it on special occasions. I bought on Amazon an assortment of 12 different styles and that was fun wearing a different look every day but eventually they all started to stain my ankle, just haven't ordered them again but I think you've put that bug in my ear to do so.

@blondsherri Sherri, As you know 14k gold won’t tarnish and stain. With the price of gold ($2,400) these days gold jewelry is a bit pricy. I have and no problem with my anklet failing. And I wear it all the time. Staci

Ooh, never thought of wearing anklets, might have to go shopping!
It's on my birthday/christmas list...for my wife to buy. Daughters might look at me in a funny way....ok, a funnier way than they do already 🙄
@alexina Allie, Funny you would mention daughters. My (grown) kids noticed but never said anything. Wife was OK with it and that is all that matters to me.

Beware girls that wearing an anklet on your left ankle may indicate to men or possibly some women that you’re a hot wife or open to a sexual relationship outside of marriage. Especially if it has a heart or similar charm attached.
I do find anklets attractive and sexy and have worn them. I thought my ex wife looked cute wearing one until I found the truth behind why she was wearing them.

I was looking at them today at a craft fair. As is was, I did buy 3 pairs of earrings, a couple of snap bracelets and a couple of necklaces. I would worry about anklets damaging hosiery
I always wear an anklet when I'm dressed. An anklet is like earrings to me - makes me feel very feminine, so I never go without one. I have a collection of about 15 different kinds - gold, silver, white and blue and red and black beads, and leather.
I love anklets and have been wearing them for decades. They are so effeminate, and I own probably dozens of them. You can generally spot them in my CDH photos.
Certain types of anklets can safely be worn over pantyhose and/or stockings and will not damage them. Looks weird over hose, well, that's a matter of personal choice. I think they look beautiful over hose or bare legs.

That's a definite from me. I usually have a delicate thin silver chain on my right ankle 24 / 7 ( I say usually, because I am quite good at breaking delicate, thin silver anklet chains. I've gone through a few)

I have one that I made that I wear on occasion (I make most of my own jewelry). I agree that it is a very feminine thing to wear. It feels wonderful wearing it especially with a pair of strappy sandals.

Yup, I'm ALL-IN on anklets. Nothing sexier than seeing them adorn one's foot and glitter off a cross-legged pose. Mucho-Sexy.
But, ya gutta remember to take them off BEFORE THE NYLONS come off....
