Good Afternoon Ladies!
Over the last 2 - 3 months I've come across two CD/Trans people in town. One I've only seen one once (and really hope to see her again), another I see daily, works at the coffee shop I go to. Been slowly engaging this (shy) person in conversation.
This morning while at a stop light a person came walking across, clearly a (young) man, wearing black stretch leggings and festive blouse, walking very femme. She was really cute! I had not seen her before! I sure wish I'd had the time to try and say hello to her but, circumstances were not right.
Makes me excited however, to see more people in our small community! Gives me more comfort and confidence to go "out", that's for sure.
Earlier today I had a (brief) opportunity to stop in a local thrift store. They had a great pair of lavender suede loafers (gurls of course) and in my size! Looked around and there were people near buy, but could not help myself. Tried them on, but they were too narrow unfortunately. As I turned to put them back on the shelf I noticed a woman who had come up behind me. She just gave a small smile and went on her way. It was obvious too, I was (am) wearing nylon knee highs!
Exciting again!
Love and hugs,
R.

Hi Lisa,
It is really surprising to me. Our community is accepting, but I know too this will push some buttons. I'm on the look out for more, and as some point I'm hoping I'm one of those who is "spotted" by someone who reaches out to me!
Love and hugs!

I dressed and went Xmas shopping today - promised myself I would!
First shop I went into, a trans assistant approached me, and I had the loveliest shopping experience ever!!!
I was treated like a star - made to sit down in a chair while one of the non-trans girls massaged beauty products into my skin (hands and face - let's not get over-excited).
I must have conversed with at least 5 assistants, all seeming eager to talk to me - the shop was busy, and I didn't notice anyone else getting quite the level of attention that I got.
I left with what I considered to be the perfect present for my wife - and a lot of nice scents on my body (arms and face, dears!).
I feel sooo blessed today.
Love
Laura
I know what you mean. Course I live in a small city with colleges all around that tends to be very liberal. But within the last 5 years I have seen more transwomen and transmen around working and living here. It makes me smile and gives hope that things can change for the better. I wish you much success in engaging with those in your community.
Hugs,
Michelle

Hi Rebekka, Where do you live? I'll move to your town...Kidding.. But I know what you mean, over the last few days Brenda has done a lot of shopping and I have seen quite a few people around the malls like us. I say put on your best outfit, do your nails & make up and hit the streets. It won't be much longer and Brenda will be totally out of the house. Enjoy your life, you know your a gorgeous girl. Hugs, Brenda
Hi Bren! Sounds fantastic! I'm a ways from doing make up and nails, but I'll get there! My next venture in terms of coming out will be to wear blouses in public! Cannot wait!
Love and hugs!

Hi Dame Veronica!
I'll get to meet one or more of these people soon face to face, I'm certain!
Can't wait for that!
Love and hugs,

I was in Columbus Ohio last weekend and saw two trans women . One was employed at Sephora
That's terrific. Maybe an outing en femme to that coffee shop is in order.
sweet!
Never thought of browsing Sephora! I'll have to do that!
Love!
