Are CD puppies for life?

Before you help me reach for the med pills, I do tend to call my smaller inserts ‘puppies’. This was as a result of my frequent purchase transactions with a German supplier, when one time I was in an email conversation with a friendly lady SA - she ended up the request for discount (who pays top dollar!?) with “Enjoy your cute puppies”. I will admit that for me in terribly stealth mode, this was like (but I can only imagine) going out for the first time completely en femme, intending to ‘pass’. A rush with acceptance.

So, the slightly frivolous sounding Q is actually seriously intending to see how well (or abysmally) you look after your CD puppies. You see, the analogy is interesting and amazing, as puppies grow quite quickly into ‘bigger beings’. B became C became D became F quite quickly, for me at least.

Do you care for them, nurture them, wrap them in silk, cry when they develop a split (always an oh-no! moment for me, gets the tape and glue out to no avail, has to fork out for a new pair 😞) or are they unceremoniously tossed into bags, onto tops of piles of unfolded clothes, squeezed into a bag along with many others of different shapes and sizes?

Are your puppies for life, or just for Christmas.

💚

@valentina16 My "puppies" are here for life, although I'm still experimenting with size, I do believe a C is my largest I'll go, based on body style. However, I treat them as gold, a special drawer with my panties, and when I wash them they are placed in a net bag and then hung dried. While I now only have 3, I do think I'll die when either one has to be laid to pasture

@closetcelt I hope the wake ceremony won’t be too upsetting. Bear in mind that often only one breaks, so if you need to buy another pair, if they’re the same, you will have one spare, ready for the next catastrophe! 💚

@valentina16 Only two pairs, A & B cup definitely do not want to go any bigger. Intrigued on a AA set though.

@valentina16 I've got 6 sets. 3 Bs, 2 Cs and a D. When not in use, each set has it's own storage box.

Not for me.

The main purpose for using forms is to attain a desired shape, and maybe to add a bit of bounce. I have seen CDs who wear clothes that are usually designed for a shapely figure, say, a dress, and the flat chest just doesn't work.

Depending on the crossdressing style, some CDs do not want to draw any more attention than, let's say, necessary. Hey, we all want some attention, right? C cups and up definitely draw attention. Today, I went to see my seamstress and wore my largest forms under a loose winter coat. The number of eyes focused on my chest bumps were very noticeable. At my BMI, there is no need for me to use these C cups and they may get pushed to the graveyard in the back of my drawer, unfortunately. And these are moderately expensive, too, so I would like to get a bit more return on my investment.

The only puppy that got wounded was after my wife first saw me wearing them and she sort of playfully squeezed them both really hard. One burst and I quickly bandaged it with duct tape, of course. So, injured but not put down just yet.

I apologize for any veterinary analogies. They are not necessarily the opinions of this management.

@erinb I found a good supply on eBuy and “stocked” up, so to speak. Quite a few in reserve, in their original box, unopened, just in case. 💚

@brianna1960 Not necessarily Brianna, for my extravaganza moments with F forms are FMEO and I admit are not fetching or proportionate, just a bit of experimental CD fun. Small & petite is actually far more sensible and beautiful. Your picture is lovely btw. 💚

@brianna1960

From my experience,  personally, for me I find it to better to go up a cup size to start ,  if your thinking B get  a  C , silicone always the best but foam is fine to start out & find you size the fits your shape, style  & personality !!!!

Lov your Puppies,  !!!

@valentina16 I have 3 pair - B, D, & E. They all get the same treatment - they go back in the box they arrived in. Sometimes I'll leave the Ds in the pocket bra because they're the standard size.

I have two pairs, in C and DD.  The DD's only come out of the drawer on infrequent occasions, and they're stored in the box they arrived in.  Because I live full time en femme, I found my regular C forms were needing to be washed quite a lot due to all the skin contact.  But because I already have several very well-fitting regular bras of one particular model, I didn't want to have to search again for an equally good pocket bra.  So I recently bought two pairs of little cloth pockets, so that there's one clean when the other needs a wash, which isn't nearly as often.  These fasten around the bra's shoulder straps, which is rather fiddly.  So if I'm going to be in the same one the next day, I tend to just lay my bra out cups-down when I take it off, with the forms already in place.  It's not too difficult to put it on like that, sitting on the bed with it across my knees and leaning right forward.  That's even fairly close to best-practice for GG's, too 🙂

@finallyfiona Ooo, you’re making me think. I prefer silicone against skin, they warm up more quickly to reflect the body temperature. But I’ve found if I wear them too much (day and night) (except for bath/showers) I do get slight blotching and I have to ease off to avoid uneasy and untruthful ‘conversations’. However, I did listen the advice from Calendar Girl when they announced ‘bra straps off!’ to avoid ‘that telling band line’ around the chest. I only got knowing looks once for this. My bad. 💚

@valentina16 Hello Valentina. I'm with you with the "skin contact" thing.

I sleep femme every night, with bra and forms. A good moisturiser over my chest after I have removed the "pups" does it for me and is part of my "getting up" routine. AKA changing back to male drab Pj's to great my loving (but DADT) partner.

I have 3 sets all triangle. Two self adhesives and one "double sided tape and adhesive wipe"

I only wear the latter when out in full on "Caty mode". Which as I have oft posted will hopefully be this year, due to a couple of nagging but non fatal health trubs over the last two years..

That was a case of the right acronym but maybe in the wrong place!  GG in this case meaning Genetic Girl.  I did see some 40GG bras in a shop the other day though, my goodness those cups were huge!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a real breast form made out of medical grade silicone that actually looked like a real breast?

@whatwhoo In my albeit not massive experience some forms are actually too like the real things, soft, loose, no real firmness to them; I have come to prefer probably an unauthentic firm form, not too firm, just enough to keep a shape unless … I think I’d better leave it there…

I guess it might be a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’? 💚

Well.  My “puppies” are for life.  I can tell how much I loved them the first time I wore them.  I squealed with excitement and instantly felt more feminine.  When I don’t wear them they are wrapped in tissue paper and stored in their original box for safe keeping.

I have a few sets of forms some D and a couple pair of E, I wear a 42D bra and the E forms seem to fill them out the best and I can get a bit of cleavage on my lower cut tops and dress's. A pair of GG's would be huge no wonder GG have back problems.......  LOL

@whatwhoo I have gone braless "stacks" of times. (Bad pun!!). But never in public. IE when on one of my overnight charity volunteer trips, I use my Gold Seal attachable forms. The "good ol" double sided tape and adhesive wipe thing. That's when I love the feeling of being in bed and laying on my side and have one breast "snuggle up" to the other.

A "Braless breakfast" before I have to change back to drab and then showering and soaping up "my breasts" is another lovely interlude."Visiting the ladies" whilst clad in my "silkie nightwear is yet another.

I'm convinced they would be good for up to two days, but 24-36hrs is the most I have achieved. That's cos "pumpkin time" comes all too soon and I have to revert to drab.

My self adhesives sometimes will stay on braless, but I would not trust them to stay on the same way the "tape" jobs do. OK if I'm going punlic, I'll have a bra on, but I still go out as above.

Femme bra fittings are another reason to use the tape version. How embarrassing to have one of your breasts drop to the floor in between trying each bra.

All the b(r)e(a)st/(s)

Caty.

@whatwhoo self-adhesives make this quite possible, but (in my case)(I may be doing something wrong)(help girls!) they don’t look authentic so are best covered in a soft top which helps outline their shape.

L'Chaim (To Life) but you get the idea.

I tried everything I could imagine to feel the fullness, weight, bounce and jiggle in my bras. Then one day I bought my first pair of silicone forms. TA-DA, fireworks, lights and whistles. Where have you been all my life???

After that came experimentation with sizing. Of course I thought Bigger is Better. Oh yes, they do look incredible, the pull on my straps, the movement, the ... how come I can't button my blouse? ... OMG why does my back hurt?

Well, I do have 3 sizes. The largest, Amoena size 8, are self-adhering and wonderful to wear but only really work in my dresses and swim suits. The size 7 are my Goldilocks, not too large, not too small, fit most of my tops and look amazing with some padding to balance my bottom. My size 6 are Me. They feel wonderful, look so natural even without extra bottom padding and everything fits just right. You might ask why aren't they Goldilocks? Well, while they do everything else, there is just something about the way I feel in my 7's.

When I want to feel buxom, it's 8. When I want to feel natural it's 6. When I want to feel sensual it's 7.

Aren't choices wonderful?

@cherylt I have an image of you as being ‘proportional and demure’ Ms Cheryl. Please don’t torpedo this image by adding that in your 8s you go ‘round the house deliberately bumping into walls n doors, just because you can. I never do this. 🤥🤥🤥

Maybe someone needs to come up with inflatable puppies. Of course you would have to carry around a can of “fix a flat” for emergencies 😆
