Hi Ladies,
Today I went for a long walk along the trails. We are having beautiful weather with autumn leaves in full colour. There are a lot of leaves on the ground already and more were falling as I walked along.
I had my camera with me and stopped on many occasions to take photos. I had been for lunch and was wearing one of my skirt outfits with black leggings and Chelsea boots. I felt so at ease as I walked, stopping to take photos whenever something of interest caught my eye. I met quite a lot of people out walking and enjoying the autumn weather and they all offered friendly greetings. I even met a school party of grade school children, a school ma'am preceding and one trailing them. They were so excited, jumping around, picking up leaves, laughing and throwing them at each other. I don't think that they even noticed me as I stood to one side to let them pass.
I must have walked for two hours and, although I enjoyed every minute of it, I was glad to see my car when it hove into view.
On my way home, I stopped in at my usual liquor store and picked up a few cans of London Pride Ale... which I think is quite appropriate for a girl like me. 🙂
Hugs,
Aurora Eden
I’ll give London Pride Ale a try!
Creemore Springs from Ontario is pretty good too!
Thanks for sharing. Glad you had a successful walk!
xo Barb :B
Hi Barb,
I'll look for the Creemore Springs Ale and give it a try, although beer from other Provinces is not always available.
London Pride Ale is an import so you should be able to find it.
Hugs,
Aurora
Looking forward to the coming cooler weather here as well so I can add a bra and stockings to my underdressing.
Hi Aurora,
Thanks for sharing your autumn walk!
Sounds like you had a great day.
Love and hugs, Stephanie 💖
Oh how I miss those fall days sometimes! Thanks for bringing the feelings back to mind, it's been quite some time. Fall was my favorite season back in days gone by.
As a recent poll discovered, the favorite season autumn/fall is here and with that a little cooler weather. I'm just back from a late night walk in my new long coat and knee high high heel boots.
I got it some time ago and I couldn't wait any longer, just had to try it outside. It was late night more because I wanted it to be a bit colder than avoiding people.
Now this walk was around the residential neighborhood so while the trees have started to turn it's far between them and with that not really camera time (but in a few weeks it will probably be due to Halloween decorations).

Thanks for sharing your beautiful and memorable walk, Aurora.
Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love Fall. It was such a dry and hot summer, and I'm looking forward to the cooler weather. Change is good, and I love to see the leaves change color! ♥️🍁
Hi Aurora.
Autumn is my favourite time too...thanks for sharing your beautiful walk...how refreshing.
My local used to sell draught London Pride....a very nice pint of wallop!!!!
Grace xx
What a liberating walk - when I read you picked up some London Pride you must have got your feet wet crossing the pond!
Hi Aurora,
Lovely time of the year in between the two seasons, morning walks can be so enjoyable and air so fresh too.
Often accompanied by the wild life as they seek out the last supplies of summer nutrition before the winter sets in.
A few more weeks and the trees be will their copper and brown plumes magnificent blends of shades and so photogenic too.
Thank you for sharing sweetie xx
Aurora, I love reading about your outings. You inspire me.
Hugs, Liara
Hi Grace,
In the 'Seventies I had a couple of friends that lived in Slade Green near Erith. They were both big lads, as it were. Anyway, one of them, everytime he got a fresh pint of ale, he would rub his hands together over the top of it, pick the pot up by the handle and, before taking his first swallow would say, "Whaaaaalllop!'
Your use of the phrase is the first time I have heard it since then.
Hugs,
Aurora
Aurora...
My grandad did exactly the same!!!! x
