Let's face it, everyone hate us.
Yesterday I talked with a friend and somehow she started to talk about trans and that they are freaks and so. She don't know about my secret and I'm very good in hiding it. I came back and I see a post somewhere against trans people. Then later I played a computer game, and guess what? "I hate trannys!".

We are the most hated group in the planet.

That's why I'll never go out dressed. Maybe in the future I'll buy a big mansion to turn it into a trans place.

OK, I need to go out now. Time to switch clothes into my normal daily man clothes.

I wouldn’t say we are the most hated group. I go out dressed as much as I can. I use women’s bathrooms and for the most part people ignore us.
People don’t like what they don’t understand and are quick to categorize us. Know where to go and not to go and always observe and be safe.

I agree, we are far, far, from the most hated group. Just look around, at the world, and all the strife going on over differences ,in race, religion, cultures, yes, we are different, and therefore feared by some, but hate is reserved for the few, in my humble opinion.

On the positive side...acceptance is increasing in the U.S. and many others places.

When people don't understand things usually get all bent out of shape over nothing.  Depending on where you go and what do. Most been around accepts me as me as well as the rest of the Cd and trans people.

Hi Maya,

I think Ignorance is the fuel for hate,

I think as our society accepts it gradually and start to interact more with transgender people the hate will subside .

Its a matter of interaction and realizing we are all people with feelings .

How many wars could have been prevented if there was more interaction between humans.

I really don't think we are the most hated group....

Paedophiles, rapists, terrorists to name but three...how on earth can we be put ahead of those????

......the way I see it, the world's population is half male and half female.....all I chose to do is sometimes decrease the male looking side by 1....and increase the female looking side by 1....hardly a " do not approach, shoot on sight" crime!!!...

and don't even get me started on boy bands, estate agents and cold callers!!!!!!

Grace xx

Hi Maya I believe using the words HATE US is a bit over the top to say the least. I would say that it is one of the many things misunderstood is more appropriate. Its even misunderstood by so many here. I look at this way. We are only trying to get some type of confirmation that how we feel is real. Its not just in our imagination, There are so many of us that have similar feelings. We come from all parts of the world and we were raised in many different cultures. We represent a very small part of the general population as a whole. So it is easy to demonize something we do not understand. We even demonize ourselves. We all want to know the answer to the question that so many ask [ including ourselves] WHY?? There are so many different answers out there that it even confuses the so called experts. The amount of work it takes just to shop,  get dressed up , do our make up, dealing with our hair, accessories and do it secretly with out any one finding out [we believe]. It always amazes me when I look back why so many did not at least notice this part of us. If we look back we were noticed and nothing was said. We make it a bigger deal than it really is to most intelligent people. They may not understand it but they have learned to accept us. I am not suggesting that we will be supported but being accepted as a part of society is huge. Can you imagine that you have been working aside some one for years and they were invited over to your home for family events. Even better you have slept aside some for 20 years and did not know that side of them. OMG call the fashion police. This boy needs help. He does not know that woman clothes are meant for the female body. Do not get me started. WE ARE NOT HATED. WE ARE JUST MISUNDERSTOOD. Be safe ladies and try to make good decisions.

Luv Stephanie

I can categorically state, through my own experiences, that it is not only not true that everyone hates us, there are actually plenty of people who love us for being brave enough to be ourselves.

Most people seem to be simply indifferent, or keep their judgements to themselves.

There are a few idiots out there, so be careful - but we are not universally hated!

Love Laura

I know it seems that way, especially when the distain, misunderstanding, or hatred...whatever way we refer to it...comes from people, places or things that are important to you.  It's tough but sometimes you have to let go of things that make you feel hated, if you can.  If you can't let go you need to balance the unsupportive with the supportive.  For me, that's why I'm here.  To develop relationships with people who know me first as trans, which is something that I just accepted of myself this weekend(I'll be doing my own post on that soon).

I'm so glad you reached out to us.  In this part of the world you are loved and accepted.  I hope that helps.

💖Lola

Some of us are more than CD but a lot of us are just CD and a lot are only CD in private. People often think that we are more than CD and sometimes their thoughts link us with criminal behavior (pedophile). Fear of the unknown breeds hate.

Many of us are closeted or at least private. A lot of people don't even know that they know somebody that is CD.

Well said Samantha sometimes lady like just don't get it.  Extreme measures means extreme pushback.
