Best Wife Ever

If your wife is the best mine is a close second.

Last week she bought me  a maid outfit and intends to have me wear it to clean the house.

Back in “the day” when my wife was accepting/encouraging for about 5 years, she actually bought a pattern and all the fabric necessary to make/sew a maid’s uniform. She is a very very talented woman in many respects. She never got around to it before changing her mind about being accepting of it.

But there were many times when we happily shared our secret together that she would come up to me, wink, and say, “hey, do you know if the maid can come this week?” Which meant, “why don’t you dress up and clean the house?” I happily obliged. Lol.

Your wife’s change of heart must be hard to take.

Prior to our marriage I explained to my wife that my dressing is a part of the package and cannot be removed, revoked or retired. No matter her feelings about it.

Sweetie, you have no idea how hard it is to take to have to shove the genie back in the bottle. Excruciating. I loved those years and those times more than anything, but on balance, I wish I had never told her. It ruined many many things.

But you did it right. Your wife already knew what she was getting. I didn’t tell because I thought it would go away when I got married and because I thought that, I didn’t believe it was worth the risk of losing her before we got married. She didn’t find out until I told her 9 years into our marriage when it became obvious that Steph wasn’t gonna pack her bags and head off into the sunset...

I didn’t tell my Ex wife until 10 years in so I wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice.

CD another of my issues between me and my Ex which eventually ended the marriage.

So I can empathize with you

My wife has constantly been improving/adding to my wardrobe, since I began this, and is actually put out if I am too long before dressing when I get home.
And no, she is no dominatrix, lol
