I have a birthday coming up in 2 weeks. I'll be 78. Earlier today my wife asked what I'd like to do on my birthday. My response was, "What I'd like to do isn't what we will do. How about we go out for dinner and a movie?" I was hoping she would pick up on that and ask what I'd like to do. I'd have replied I would like to go out for dinner and a movie fully dressed en femme. Since she didn't ask, I won't mention it. However, a day or so before my birthday, I will ask her if she would go shopping with me before dinner at Hamrick's and help me pick out a new outfit. She has said before she would help me shop if I was out shopping with her and saw something I liked but she wasn't keen on the idea of just going shopping for me. I think the fact it's my birthday may sway her. I'll also suggest we find something for her, as well. If this comes to fruition, I'll be one happy girl.

If my wife asks what I want for my birthday, which she rarely does, I ask for lingerie. She bought me a really sexy black lace bra, panty, and garter set with stockings once...oh was that a great birthday.
My birthday wish is a full MAC makeover. I love their makeup, but I could definitely use help in getting the most out of it. I guess there's nothing to say I couldn't get myself this for my birthday....hmmm... Of course once my makeup is done so well, I'd love to take my new look out someplace nice!

Sounds like our birthday thoughts are about the same.
I don't really celebrate birthdays, which my wife hates. So this year I told her it was her choice, we ignore my birthday like I want to do, or I would let her fuss and celebrate my birthday however she wants to and I promised I wouldn't fight back, the one catch was I got to it wearing a dress. She left town and we ignored it. Which didn't really bother me at all.

Have the happiest birthday, Heather. In 3 weeks I also have a birthday, I'll be 69. My birthday's have been mostly ignored for 34 years, my number 2 daughter turns 34 the day before my birthday. Usually everyone wishes her a happy birthday, and then, oh, you too dad.
My biggest wish is a level of acceptance from my kids, that we all go out to eat to celebrate with me dressed as Cassie.

Well, that went pretty much as expected. This morning while still lounging around in my nightie, etc., I asked my wife if she would help me pick out a nice outfit while we were out for dinner and a movie. I expected she would decline the opportunity; so, I wasn't caught off guard when that's what she did. She said she understands it's my birthday; but, she just wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. Yes, I understand her hesitancy. She then added she believes she does pretty good accepting me as much as she does. I had to agree with her on that. I did tell her there was no way I could get a "yes" answer without first asking. Oh well.
