Hello Ladies

I'm considering getting a breast form.  My biggest concern is spending a lot of money and ordering this online which is the only way to get one. I don't like returning items.  So how do you know it will fit?

How hard are they to get on and take off?

Tha k you in advance for feedback from women who have worn them.

❤️❤️❤️

@debcox I presume you mean a breastplate?

I have not yet tried one of these, but you could try reading Sasha's post about her experience.

@debcox I used to use forms and medical adhesive as I prefer them larger and the self adhesive ones did not stay well without a bra. but never got the view from above to be great so I went to breast plate which solved many issues for me . it can be sweaty so also get good body powder at the same time.the body powder is imperative as well to get it on easy  and not tearing.  if shopping on Amazon Read alot of reviews on your body size as to fit and stretch and tearing. im pretty heavy and I find the stretch to be very good and I have not tore mine yet. Company was  zilasegy probably  made in china .reviews were good. reasonably priced. you may want to trim around your neck as well as it can feel tight at first. I cut mine down to the bottom of my neck where I can hide the line with a neck cuff easy enough and not feel like im being choked.  the stretch is fine I could have gone smaller and will next time. but if planning on going out in public breast forms may be better just may not be able to show much cleavage . I have not however bought any of the more expensive ones . these look good most of the time and im very happy with them for the price. thought with breast forms you can wear a reasonably low cut spaghetti strap top but with a plate you need to hide the lines. depending on what your looking for.   hope this helps. good luck. Cheers RC

@debcox I have owned almost every size over the years.  Purged some.  Bought more.  Also learned what is my proper bra size, 42B.  One of my breasts will almost fill the cup, so I'm content with this size for daywear, although I do have two bras and forms for a D-cup for my stretchy nighties.  But mostly, the 42B I can wear, and be happy and busy around the house.  With the shades open and maybe people walking or driving by, you know, you can wear 42B with casual tops and your silhouette isn't exactly going to stick out over the water like an aircraft carrier.

You might have to spend an extra $20-$40 in bra purchases over the course of time matching the "size" of the form to the cup size of your bra.  As I mention, for sleepwear I have benefitted in my sleep with a bigger bust all night.  With me, in bed at night, reading either a book or my computer, I enjoy looking down over the D-cups, it makes everything seem right - it's luxurious - I feel good about myself.  I like myself, and there's no more anxiety.

Why not try You tube? The first thing is to know is what size you are looking for. It is a bit of a minefield out there so it is best to look before you buy.

I looked at the options but having a bit of a 'moob' found that I only needed to get a breast form which fitted into the bra and pushed my breast tissue over and I have a 36D cleavage. The forms are silicone and cost about $30.

@ab123 I agree Angela, knowledge as they say is power. When I prepared to buy my first breast form, it was a bit daunting. Which size? How do I put it on correctly? What bra will not only hold it in place, but accentuate the appearance of my body? A lot to consider....best of luck dearheart.

Hugs...Nikki

The Glamour Boutique has some nice videos about forms and sizes and does a good job of demystifying the whole process. The Breast Form Store is also super helpful if you call and talk to them they will walk you through picking the size and style.

One of my sets is Pals from Supergel International and I used their fit charts and that worked pretty well.

If you have some bras already, or know what bra size you want to be then you can buy the appropriate form to fit that bra. I knew I wanted my last set of forms to fill out my 38 C bra so I talked to both the Breast Form Store and Glamour Boutique and the ladies were great at helping to choose the right size.

You can use The Breast Form Store link on CDH and use the Choosing bras and breastforms guide to find the appropriate size.

I kept experimenting with making my own--not easy and frustrating--but i was determined! The simplest option for awhile were water balloons...i found  that black was stronger and held up better...Wal-Mart.  Different combinations of jog bras and others could achieve what i wanted. They  felt authentic as well.  Maybe breast forms in the future--cup bras etc.  It has been fun, regardless.
