Hello lovely CDH ladies,

Those of us who have ordered breast forms from vendors such as The Breast Form Store will have received these items in lovely packaging with plastic "trays" to hold the forms.

However, equally, those of us with SO's who either know about our femme selves and do not approve or those that dont know, do not need to accidentally find this packaging that screams "breast forms".

And again, travelling with the above in a suitcase takes up far too much room.

CATY'S VINOUS "SOLUTION"

1/. Buy a six bottle pack of your favorite wine.

2/. Store or consume the above, (with perhaps SO's help!!!)

3/. When empty, cut the carton down to size to accept your forms, but leave enough to create "flaps" over the carton when closed. Its also a good idea to reinforce this part of the box with heavy duty tape. (Unless, of course  you want to wear this box out quickly, so's you can get another one and drink them.!!!)

4/. The 6 pack will accept up to C Cup forms quite securely and fits easily into a small suitcase. Any of you girls who like D Cups and above may have to find a larger box!!

If that happens to be a case of 12 and given where most of "youse lot" are located, (aka the US) if its a nice Californian "Zin", please e.mail me the  time ,date and location of the party!!

Happy (hic!) dressing

Caty

Nice story. When I find need to hide mine, I'll consider it. For now I keep mine in the box they were shipped to me in.

Hi Caty,

I'm having a hard time envisioning what this storage container looks like.  Would you mind posting some pictures?  Traveling with breast forms can be a challenge.  This could help a lot of girls.

Thanks for posting.

Caty,

What do you do if you don’t drink wine? Hic, Gilly.

I always pack my forms centrally in the suitcase surrounded by soft clothes (no sharp/hard bits  like belts anywhere near!)  The suitcase is always full or at least secured with the internal straps, so everything stays put safely. I'm just back from travelling to the UK and did exactly that - including wheeling the case about over bumpy ground and carrying the case upstairs - in other words, the case is often upright and not flat all the time - when I opened it my forms were exactly where I'd put them...

I do similar with wigs, but they go into a plastic food bag just big enough to hold them so they are held well.  I take collapsible wig stands so they can go onto them as soon as I arrive.  Again, works well - a quick brush and all is good!

Hi being single and alone I have no need to hide my breast forms but I keep them in the plain white boxes they came in

To Emily Alt,

Go to your local liquor store and examine a 6 pack of bottled wine. Imagine this being cut down to the height of your forms. The allow sufficient material to form the same "closing flaps" as on the original 6 bottle carton size.

Then the carton is cut down to these dimensions, and slits made to allow the "flaps" to fold over as per the original carton

To all!

This method is also ideal to keep your breast form "accessories" handy. IE skin tac adhesive wipes/other adhesives, alcohol skin cleansing wipes, double sided breast form tapes etc etc.

Happy dressing,

Caty

Well organised Isabella,

I too used to travel a lot more than I do these days and yes I never had a problem with leaking/punctured breast forms. They used to come in fabric pockets, so I guess that was protection too.

Hi Gilly,

Methinks yu are on line right now as I am. If you dont drink wine, lets just hope the beer or spirits carton does the job for you...

Caty, I was just having a tease! Nowadays I tend to only drink wine. Haven’t  had a beer since last August or spirits for about 18 months! Gilly
