Hi girls!  Jeez it happened again.  Just about everyone does it - I find myself doing it - and I don't like it!  It was pointed out me (again) that I was criticizing a womans hair, saying things like "she would look nicer if....".  I was told (kindly) that it is pretty arrogant for a genetic man to judge how a GG should style her hair or choose her clothes.   Damned if she isn't right about that too.  I told her it's just me being envious of having long full hair and the things I could do with it, but I had to admit to myself that, yeah, I was being  a bit judgmental.  And this happens so often sisters, a critiquing of women when they do not have the look or wear the clothes we deem as being "properly feminine".   As I was told in so many words,  they are woman with nothing to prove to me (us) and no need to "fit in" with women because they are women!  Yet many of us at times feel that the females of the world dont make the grade in how the present themselves.  I do hope the women of the world are more accepting of our dressing as we are of theirs.   Is this just a simple Critique Boutique / Stitch n' Bitch session we go through as we embrace the girl we are, or some mutation of old misogyny mixing with the Dark Side of a jealous cheerleader induced mentality?  Misogyny is evil, jealousy is evil.  Is it just the envy of wishing we were like them and have their choices, or just fashion based woman bashing?

Sorry for the rant girls, but became quite annoyed at myself when I found myself  criticizing another.  ( I mean, who the f**k do I think I am?).  I quickly squashed that nonsense, filled it with happy thoughts, and returned to the side of light!

Umm, that's it. 😁

Stevie ❤

Despite the lack of replies on your thread, I suspect you're not alone in that behavior. I catch myself at it sometimes, and I know of several GGs that do it constantly, commenting on all and sundry who pass beneath their discerning gaze.

HI Steveie,
I get it, dont beat yourself up too bad sweetie.

believe me I am an amateur at hair and make up but I see woman a lot that dont do much with the wonderful gifts the good lord gave them and think of things they could do to look better.

I dont think its all bad to look at a woman and think of ways they could look better.

I love observing woman and yes sometimes I think this would look better or their hair would look better this way its kinda fun.

I wouldn't dare tell them that.First it would be odd coming from a guy and second I would never want to hurt someones feeling.

Dont beat your self up too bad .

Hi Stevie Please do not be so hard on yourself. We have so much to learn and unlearn. I just payed a visit to my hair salon. I had not been there in over six months.  I was going to let my hair grow out and just have ends cut. I let her cut it a lot shorter than I wanted. She assured me that if I came in once a month she could help me get the look I wanted. I made a comment to my hairdresser about some of ladies who did not wash there hair for over a week after getting a perm. She told me that some go as long as two weeks. She said to me that all woman want to feel pretty as long as possible before another costly wash and set. I know I was overheard and felt bad for saying it. I just said I do understand that. I learned Its just a part of being a woman no matter what our age. We all want to feel pretty even if it just some times but as long as possible. I give my wife so much credit for having the patience to teach me what is important and what is not. She wants the mindset of a woman to go along with the clothes but still wants her man when needed. Just not easy being duel genders at times.

Luv Stephanie

Thank you Bridgette, I was starting to think it was just me!  It's something I notice that my drab self never gave much attention to.
