hi girls. now this is a strange topic but it made me think about it, especially my close call I had a couple of nights ago. it occurred to me that my dog accepts me no matter what, whether i'm dressed femme or male. he still drapes himself across my legs and goes to sleep. undying love and acceptance, maybe a few humans could learn from him......

un-conditional love, my cat Boots is the same way.......Love my cat 🙂
Hi Sweetie..........it is true....my dogs/wolf did not bat an eye when I dress female. They were a bit annoying because they mobbed me to lick off my perfume!!!!! Animals are so funny....same after I have a bubble bath. When I bath them...they absolutely must go out and roll in something dead or horse poo/cattle poo. They hate scents other than dirty or scruffy!!! LOL. I remember one time I perfumed all of them....they all rushed out and put their heads on the grass, bums in the air and tried rubbing it off by pushing faces along the ground. I wish I had taken a photo of that.....could not stop laughing at them.
Only dog people would understand that one.

Hi. Yes they teach us all the time if we would listen. When dressed and in their company, I feel so much more like a "girl" and sing silly songs to them. My eyes tear up when I hug and kiss them. They help me release my emotions that have to be bottled up in man mode.
Sorry ladies,
I have a different "dog lead" on this one. We live next door to a couple who I'm sure work shift work. They also have a young female Alsatian who never stops barking whilst they are away. It can get a bit much at 6am in the morning
So the times when this co incides with my Caty time are even more frustrating than when I'm not in the above mode.
Why?.
Cos in Caty mode, "just in case" they have just got home, I cant stick my (be wigged) head out the back door and yell
SSSHHHHAAAADDDDUPP !!!!!!
Regards
Caty
PS I used to be a pet lover... But at about aged 10 my old man made me get rid of a dog I loved dearly. He claimed cos it was chewing next doors door mat**. Hindsight tells me cos it was car sick in his precious two tone "FC Holden wagon". That's OZ speak, sorry bout that!.
I guess that turned me of pet ownership for life. Yes, I cohabited with cats and my ex for many a decade, but never got attached to them.
** So why not buy them another one Daddy??

Ah yes, the neighbour's dog that barks non-stop when they are not there, but is so quiet the moment they hear them returning so they won't believe what a pain it is in the meantime... I've had three separate neighbours like that.
As such I've checked out what my doggy does when I leave and within seconds he is on the sofa falling asleep. He is so laid back. Also he doesn't care what I wear or look like provided he gets fed, watered and walked, and gets to fall asleep on the sofa. Did I mention he isn't allowed on the sofa? He's got me through some bad times when my marriage broke down, so I guess I can allow him that luxury.
