Hey there gals-
I told y'all that I would let you know how it went when I went in for the laser hair removal. Well, today was the day. To say I was nervous would be the understatement of the century. I went in and even got a hug from her.
We decided to start on my arms because that was just as good as any place. She shaved them first and we chatted and then I laid down on the table, she put these blinder goggles on so as not to damage my eyes and then began. After I had the goggles on she put this cool gel on. Not seeing it I have to say it sort of felt like mint jelly that falls off the knife. It didn't hurt all that much; however, I've heard that when you start hormone replacement therapy the skin thins a bit and gets more sensitive. I haven't started any of that yet so maybe that would have changed things. the cis women I've spoked to about this have all said that it wasn't all that bad though.
It sort of felt like a needle that was a little hot is all. In a very short time period she did both of my arms and that was that. I have to go back in August for round two.
I'd share photos but I'm not sure how to do that in this forum or even if it's acceptable.
