I came out to my wife last year. Early in our relationship I did a bit of crossdressing with her, just fun stuff. That stopped 23 years ago and since then any dressing was in secret.
When I came out she told me that she had no idea I was still doing it.
I underdressed with my wife’s knowledge and direction but fetish stuff as Her sissy but when the BDSM stopped she thought it all stopped. i continued and actually increased from fetish to full on crossdressing but without her knowledge. Then she caught me sneaking a new bra in and found my stash. We had quite a discussion after that because she saw my crossdressing only in respect to BDSM not as a reflection of my feminine side
I strongly suspect my wife was aware I was a cross-dresser for years and knew I'd tell her when I was ready. When we did have 'the talk' it was obvious she'd already done quite a bit of research and had acquired a tremendous amount of insight concerning my desire to wear women's clothes and how this need would fit into our marriage. She said she understood Elizabeth was a necessary component to the man she loves and since then she has encouraged me to let go of my pent up quilt so I can enjoy both my masculinity as well as my femininity. Yes, I am a lucky girl and I tell her that everyday.
