I'm getting a lot of feedback from the staff that our membership here doesn't like the staff, or the way this site is moderated.
there's a few truths here...
1. the staff are volunteers. none of the staff you see interacting here are paid for what they do.
2. the staff are following protocols developed over time to keep trolls, malcontents, and mockers out of the site.
3. the staff are trying to ensure that our topics stay away from sexual situations, politics, and religion, again, our mission and our protocols.
4. this is a support site with a mission, not a "free speech" site. I have removed many comments/posts that I personally agree with that don't match up with the mission of the site.
5. if you call out a staff member in public by name for something they coached you in private and I find out about it, there's a good chance your account will be banned.
our staff put in literally hundreds of hours per week doing this. no one pays us. for those who are subscribers, those funds go toward running the site, to scholarships, and other good causes the site owner deems proper.
I am the Managing Ambassador. everything that comes to my desk is dealt with as soon as I can, and dealt with as fairly as I can be.
please feel free to use the "contact the managing ambassador" link to contact me directly if you have an issue, I usually respond within 24 hours.
please stop treating our staff as servants and censors.
we really are the good folks making this site a safe place for those in need.

I think sometimes we do forget those facts, I know I for one am guilty. I do tend to let my free speech get away from me, from time to time, and dont always think about the other side

Billie, you and I have had discussions and have resolved any difficulties. I have no clue why any girl would have a problem.
Now, I love a rousing political debate, and religion and sex aren't out of bounds for me either. But the rules are the rules. You know this when you sign up. So abide by the rules, simple, see.
If anyone wants to debate with me on any of above-mentioned topics, let me know, I'll PM an off site email and we can discuss stuff, as long as we stay civil. I don't lose friendships over ideological differences.
Back on point, I think the staff does a great job of keeping CDH running, that's why I have a paid membership.

I think this is a wonderful site and I appreciate all of you that look after it. I for one come to this site for support and fellowship. I don't want to discuss politics, religion, etc. here. I just want to talk about makeup, fashion and girly thinks. I can go elsewhere for the other topics.

I joined CDH less than a month ago. I cannon-balled in once I realized your site is a wonderful and safe place for us crossdressers, no matter where we are on the sexual spectrum. For 59 years I had no idea I was not alone. Really!
I've been making friends all over the world and plowing my way through all that your site has to offer. I'm really that kid in a candy shop! I'm learning and listening. And making the occasional comment too! My goodness! The unbridled warmth and hilarity!
So, I'm feeling rather "giddy" with it all, especially with my new found acceptance and honesty. I finally realized who I am and I love what I see. I'm no longer afraid to speak and live it.

Billie, thank you for such a well thought out post. Thank you for everything you do here. You're pretty special.
I'd like to say a couple things, if I may. The first is that your post is wonderful. The volunteers here are angels in their way, and they deserve far more credit than they get, you included. I'd add site founders to that too, and everyone that had a hand in creating or maintaining the place. You have my gratitude and admiration, even when I'm too belligerent to show it appropriately.
Second, it's your world here, your rules, your way. ("You" in the general sense, the site itself and management). Personally, I recognize policies here were developed over time by fixing stuff as it came up, and I respect that.
All that said, the place is still evolving, I hope, and a love-it-or-leave-it style is probably counterproductive to that effort, I'd think. Don't know, just a nobody with too many opinions here. That stuff is your call, and I trust you'll make the right ones, as usual.
Thank you for reminding us, me especially, of the angelic nature of this wonderful place and the people that make it possible. Kinda feel like I owe you all at least a nice meal or something...any time you're in the area hon.

I do not post much. Frankly, I am very private about my crossdressing. Having a place to keep it reasonable and polite is amazing. I come here to connect in a small way with other crossdressers (or whatever they want to call themselves). All in an effort to have a better understanding of what other CD's are doing and why. I think the moderators are doing a great job of keeping the site relevant while not turning it into a porn site. Thanks Ladies...
Hi BillieJay, I want to say how much I value what all the voluteers do. If it were not run in the matter it is, I would not likely have joined the CDH site.
You are all helping us become better spouses, mates, BFs, GFs, and most importantly, people! Thank you for everything you and the others do to keep the site intact and safe!
