Just went downtown to buy this cute pair of shoes I've been eyeing at the local goodwill store. Like new, Aldo brand, perfect size. Don't know if they had ever been worn, but they were gone! So bummed!

I had tried them on last weekend, in front of a male clerk, that was kind of fun cause he saw me and my hose! (Naughty gurl!). But for some reason I waited, and waited too long!!! 🙁

On the upside, I did find a great leopard print (faux fur) belt that fit! Only 9 bucks and it matches my leopard print flats!

So not a complete loss!

Love you Gurls!!
Becka!

Yes Rebekka, we have all been there, you know you want to buy it, but wait a little to long to purchase it. Sods law it's never there the following visit. Love the sound of the belt. Advice if you want it go for it.

Becka, I feel for you, missing out on the shoes.

Ironically, I was thinking of posting a similar, one of those days, kind of posts. I just got back from town, and bought myself my first pair of magnetic ear rings (I don't have pierced ears). Went to the bathroom to try them on. I was having problems getting it to stick to the magnet on the back of my lobe. And, you guessed it, I dropped the ear ring, it bounced straight to the sink, and went down the drain. 🙁

But, it wasn't a total loss though, as the clerk said that they were buy one, get one 1/2 off. So, I also got myself a pair of clip on hoops, which are too big to fit down the drain. 🙂

Hi Becka,

You’ll just have to visit the shop again soon!

Hi Birel

Its a heavier item so its probably still sitting in the p-trap under the sink if you've got some slip joint pliers or a pipe wrench. I rwcovered rings and things for customers who've done the same.

Darling Rebecca! I know that feeling all too well so I buy at first sight... sort of love at first sight!

Went to a thrift store Friday and found a beautiful skirt in black by New Zealand’s top female designer, Trelise Cooper (look her up)! Price... $5 nz! Flabbergasted to say the least!

Pleased Polly! xxx

Thank you all Gurls for the wonderful replies!!!

Learned my lesson!!! It is one of the places I frequent most!!!

There are 2 places downtown that know me (and my Wife) as we go often to look around! Now I'm afraid one of the ladies working there will say something like, "How did those shoes you bought work out?", while shopping with my wife!!! Yikes!

Lol

The things we gurls have to go through!
