I just applied for a job at a local LGBTQ community center! It looks like such a great place (I'll post it if I get it), but it would be so great to work there, serve and help others who are or have faced the challenges we all have!

An update,
I did not get this job. I am so deeply disappointed by this. It even made me cry a little. I truly wanted an opportunity to help others in the LGBT community, especially young people who have to struggle with so much as it is today.
This center does have volunteer opportunities that I may also go for. Problem is they want a few months commitment which in itself is not a problem, but I do need to find a job. If and when I do, I won't have the time to volunteer.
I will keep trying however.
