Last night I dreamt my fantasy.. I was dressed in my LBD; thigh highs; strappy heels to show off my red polished toenails, matching colored fingernails and ruby red lips… and of course my short bobbed wig.
I was waiting for a gentleman to take me to dinner.

I don't dream when asleep; at least none that I can remember.
But I have fantasized. Sometimes so intensely that I can "feel" my breasts and my vagina.
Date, dating, being pursued, flowers at work, nice dinner, accepting his proposal, showing off my ring, planning my wedding, the ceremony, reception, my wedding night outfit and well, you know . . . wedding night passions, the announcement, "I am pregnant", carrying our child, 9 months of pregnancy and all of its difficulties culminating in giving birth, and the immense joy of holding my new born, breastfeeding, being "mom".
All part of an extended fantasy that of course, will never be reality. Yet this whole scenario seems so real at times, I wonder if these aren't the experiences of the average cis woman. I can't help believe they must be and as intense as I experience them my identification as a trans woman are confirmed to me again and again.

To be honest, I can never remember if I have dreams, but then maybe i just don't dream....
I do daydream though...I can drift off, sitting in a chair, then some noise or a doorbell will snap me out of it...
and i'm back and still dressed as Grace, looking and feeling wonderful....maybe I'm just living my dream full time!!!!

Every night I dream a mish mash of images, I know there is a woman in there whom I'm pretty sure is me wearing a twin set and pearls, honest!!
But day dreaming? What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon knowing that those images will stay with you for as long as it takes to think of a better one.

I remember having a dream years ago, just a teenager that I was wearing a dress to school and the people at the bus stop were commenting how great I looked. It was weird and kind of freaked me out back then and it was subliminal. I'd seen this very pretty girl at school in the dress and thought how great she looked and what a beautiful dress it was. I guess I went to sleep and the power of suggestion and my imagination took over.
