Joanna is normally a miniskirt girl, largely due to loving tights and high boots, and enjoying showing off her legs in them!
Yesterday I had a pedicure booked and time to do some shopping. For the first time, I tried on a couple of floaty full, ankle length skirts, bought them and wore one about town for the rest of the day. (White with black polka dots, worn with a black top, silk scarf, faded denim jacket and black sandals with a low heel.)
With the swishing of the full skirt around my bare ankles as I walked, and my freshly-painted toes in the sandals just visible below the hem, I have never felt more feminine. I think long skirts are going to be a regular choice from here on in!
I think i need to invest in some.longer skirts as i do like the look of them.
I normally wear.mini length as, like you , i love.my.tights and showing off my legs
@joannat What a wonderful day you had. I wear all lengths, but love to wear a petticoat under the full skirts. I recommend you try it , “ the swish” is even more pronounced. Just talked my self into my red one for today, LOL
Oh yes Joanna. I have enjoyed long skirts for years now and wear them quite often when out. In summer there is nothing better or more comfy than a long cotton skirt. with sandals or kitten heels to stroll the streets in. Just remember to hold up the front when climbing stairs now
Mmmmm a long light skirt or dress over freshly-smooth legs ... that's just the best feeling 🙂

By the way what is the difference between a petticoat and a waist slip?
Love the feeling of long skirts and dresses you also leave a lot to the imagination.

There is nothing like the swish of a floaty skirt to make you feel feminine.
I absolutely love midi and maxi skirts and dresses! As you discovered, they are very feminine - and even sexy!
