Women's size shoes and men's size differ, and I am trying to find what would be the right size shoe, heels for me. I have big feet, a bigfoot, wear a size 12 in men's. What I want to know is what they would be in Women's size, so it makes it easier to order online.

So if you'all have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear from you

Amanda, the standard answer is size up two from your male size for women's sizes.   However, I did that with a recent purchase and the shoes were too large, should have gone up only 1 size.  Online is a good choice and also some of the CD stores carry larger size shoes that should work.  Happy shopping.

Go try to find a pair that fits... I wear sizes from 10.5-12.5. I try to use Euro sizing which is a 43 for me. Shoes are sometimes a pain to find.

I have no interest in heels or any other types of shoes for the ladies, so I have no problem there. The running shoes I normally wear are almost gender neutral.

I’m an 11 1/2 or 12 men’s, 44 euro , and size 13 women’s fits ok, a touch of pinching, but that might just be the shape of my feet. The real problem is selection. If you find a cute knee boot with a 2-3 inch block heel, let me know

The first shoes I ever bought for myself was platform wedges.  I learned real quick that men's and women's shoes are not sized the same. I had to go two sizes bigger in woman's shoes to get the right fit.

Hundreds of pairs of shoes later I found that sizing difference always worked for me.

i am size 11,5, the range will be 13 and 14

the rules is ballpark +2 but you will encouter surprises.. Like a medium shirt at M&M will be a size small elsewhere.. sometimes size 13 is ok, sometime 14 is a must depending on the angl of the heels and obviously your feet

Pleaser Wide pumps are good to me 🙂

So lucky in the UK!

My male size 11s fit perfectly, and I mean perfectly, with no pinching, into women's size 9w, which are in beautiful and plentiful supply from New Look and Dorothy Perkins.

Love Laura

I have enough trouble finding shoes for my feet in man mode (nominally just under UK size 13, with one foot slightly smaller than the other). Some size 13's flop around on my feet while other are too tight.

I stick with 'gender neutral' flats overall, works for me when dressed; best buy was a pair of mens tasselled loafers which look like some styles of womens ones.

I am considering getting some proper womens shoes, looking at sizes etc; - will probably go by Euro sizes - thanks for all the replies so far, have provided useful info

2 sizes larger than your mens size.

Harder part is width, but you must try them on before buying, I've found.

(and I love to do this in a store full of people, with stocking feet!)

Sorry, had to throw that in!

Amanda. First unsolicited suggestion. ZAPPOS. Customer service is better than a hooker at an Elks Convention (not that I have any idea what that means, but , well, you get it!). Return policy is easier than simple. BUT, to your question? I get one size larger - with the understanding that you buy based on a true size 12? I don’t know about you, girl, but don’t you sometimes buy shoes that fit you as a different size? Stick with your usual width. If you absolutely love the shoes, get them in a few sizes and return the others? Good luck. It really is true, YOU CANNOT OWN ENOUGH SHOES - ESPECIALLY HEELS!
