Great news that another 129 Afghans were flown to safety, and among them were 29 Afghans from the LGBT community who have been persecuted by the Taliban. I'm sure we all wish them a un - persecuted new life here in Britain,or where ever they choose to call home, until one day they can return and return build their own. At least now they have an umbrella of safety.

This is such a difficult subject for me...OF COURSE I want people to be safe, whatever their sexuality..Im no racist, I love everyone really.....
but our country is drowning in migrants......

They can all come here to Canada 🇨🇦. We got lots of space. I think we’ve signed on to accept 25,000. They’re super nice people and the first generations always do the “shit” jobs so girls like me don’t have to.

Many that seem to sail into this country have passed through many safe countries and could find sanctuary and are indeed economic migrates because of our easy benefit system they can exploit. The Afghans where under our protection so we have a moral duty to help them, otherwise it's certain death for most of them.

Amen to that! That was a horrible day! Those poor souls falling to their deaths from the aircraft flying away - it goes beyond words!
I just pray that everyone who wants to leave makes it out safely.
